Yeah, was going to say same. Catena was out of leadership by early 1980s and full time in Florida. He was still consulted on odds and ends for a couple more years, but in an unofficial capacity. He was totally out for quite a while by the time of his death in 2000.

That's really interesting - were those 'odds and ends' related to Genovese business or did he own any rackets in Florida?

Scott- I have to be honest, I feel that a lot of your content is fan fiction. But in this situation I think you made Nadu look foolish. Is he right about Ernie? Now one really knows we can only assume he’s wrong. And his reasoning behind it was completely off base, putting words in Campi’s mouth and saying you’ve never been to New York. And did anyone catch Jeff admitting that he’s never been to NY right after that? Anyway back to my hole,

No way Nadu has better sources then you. All of Nadus source are in LE. That's why he is always able to get a relative unknown informant to speak.
