FBI informants in the '60s painted Ouimette's stature such that he was treated as a de facto capodecina by Patriarca, while of course not being an actual member. He clearly had a lot of clout and status and ranked as one of the upper-tier associates, accorded as much respect as possible for someone who was not a made guy, that we see around different Families, like Lansky, Watts, Alex, McIntosh, Rockman, Diez, Michaels, etc.

This and the story I heard about Bo Bo Marrapese when they wanted their own hangout at the ACI, and Bo Bo had a crane drop a trailer over the fence of the prison. Not sure how true it is but I heard that happened.

People don't realize how much power the Frenchman had. It's crazy to think about. Even to this day, I've seen Gotti Jr come up when his son was fighting in MMA and he still links up with Gerards nephew every time hes in town. So that says something.

Its crazy to even think you would have your kid allowed to sleep over your house (a prison). I wonder what his kid thought at that time. Lol. A trailer, I believe it. It sounds like he was allowed to do pretty much whatever he wanted, but leave the prison.

Hi what do you make of this quote from the book What Price Providence written by Gerard Ouimette on p. 407 ‘ I took a shower, got dressed, and went to see my brother. As soon as I walked in the club door the phone rang and my youngest brother picked it up. He yelled to me, “It’s the Saint and he wants to talk to you.” Bobby DeLuca Sr. had warned me to be careful of the Saint, so I was suspicious about his call. As far as he was concerned I had gotten rid of my beeper and thrown out my home phone. But I took the call. Saint said, “Why are you avoiding me? We’ve gotta stay in touch, you and I.’ I said, “Saint, I’m avoiding everybody.” So it looks like Bobby Deluca was suspicious of St. Laurent maybe he heard from Flemmi or Salemme about St. Laurent being an informant?

also how about this article about St. Laurent? https://www.providencejournal.com/story ... 544479007/

deluca became a informant I think it was a typo in that news paper article. why would they arrest his wife and son if he became a informant and sentence him to 7 years his son to 5 and probation for the wife. they all would have got off IMO. there smoke but I still havnt been persuaded st laurent was a informant
