Lucchese soldier and 4 others indicted in gambling ring

Re: Lucchese soldier and 4 others indicted in gambling ring
I mean there’s a chance the profits from this ring ended up financing some drug deal or some bribe to some construction/ union official
Re: Lucchese soldier and 4 others indicted in gambling ring
Of course that's a possibility. And with the Mafia the government calls it bribing....in politics they call it lobbying and it's completely legal lol. Kinda my whole point in all this. I gamble myself and so do all my friends and some even do it on offshore sites with bookies. As an American I think it's dumb to spend taxpayer dollars investigating gambling clubs in Queens. If they're never going to lose their hard on for the Mafia at least use those resources to focus on the unions they shake down and heavy drugs being dealt.....stuff that actually impacts the public.

Re: Lucchese soldier and 4 others indicted in gambling ring
A couple of things that might help someone on here.
There is or was a sixth defendant. The court filings should be available on this next week, and those of you that have access can verify that. My understanding is the Fed's didn't do a very good job hiding this fact, and know this part to be factual.
Praino is a Florida guy. I never heard him called Platinum, but I know he has been pinched for interstate transmission of stolen property, and also failure to file income taxes. That was a while back. He's up around Lake Worth, which is Palm Beach County. I don't know his "verified status" as it regards this board, but he's been around, and they all cooperate together down there. Made, soldier, associate, none of that maters to me, he's involved. Nice guy, low key. Pretty good at what he did. What I'm saying is he was a good bookmaker and didn't draw attention to himself. Lots of guys like that running around under the radar. At least in book, where I know my way around, and have some idea who is who.
None of the filings are public n the Eastern District of New York but should be eventually, and you can see what I'm posting about. Praino was removed to Florida, and that will be available very soon, but I've seen the filing, and I've seen the sixth guy's information is blacked out. Maybe I learn more when the Eastern District of NY is available, maybe not. But they have a defendant's name blacked out, and that causes me to speculate.
I heard a couple of other things, but I'm going to wait on that until the court filings are available to the public. What I saw if filed, just not available online yet so what I posted here is ok for now. The rest can wait.
I have a very recent photos of two of these guys. Well, one guy and one gentleman. I'm not very good at editing out other people's faces, and I need to understand the risk of metadata, or tracking before I get that far. Especially since I'm in the one photo. It's no big deal, just some guys eating.
Anyway, just me spreading some speculation and rumor (again), that will eventually be verifiable as fact if anyone wants to take the time and expense to do that. I suspect a couple on here have the skill set to verify. Me? Just a retired washed up small time bookmaker who went legit in the cornfields somewhere in the Midwest and well past the statute of limitations.

Since the thing has been filed, but isn't available, if someone can explain how to post a document, I'll go ahead and post it so you can see what I'm referring to. That way you can make your own choices and decision. The rest of the stuff I'd post, trust but verify, or do whatever you want. This is still American regardless of what the the dickwads in charge now are trying to do.

Thanks for your help @JohnnyS, the process wasn't easy for whatever reason.

That took a second. Had my PII on there, and I don't want that getting to unstable poeple such as the one I mentioned. Getting what I'm saying?Johnny1and1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 8:47 am https://theblackhand.club/forum/ext/dmz ... ee393a.jpg
Always best to verify with Pogo first. He has access to court documents before they are publicly available, and he seems like a pretty smart and well put together person. Thanks for your help @JohnnyS, the process wasn't easy for whatever reason.

Who is #6? What’s everyone’s best guess?

Well, it looks like US DOJ agrees with me. 6 indicted, not 5.

The indictment that I posted the photo of with the blacked out sixth name will be publicly available soon. Eastern District of NY is behind, the removal to Florida should be available sooner, this week probably. Eastern New York will take a while longer.

Re: Lucchese soldier and 4 others indicted in gambling ring
So what is the exact BS being spread here? This indictment was posted in Pacer on 9-15. All you had to do was search by name and put in Praino (like I just did a few minutes ago - nothing comes up for the others) and - wow - there it is. So, I don't know...doesn't seem like some exclusive information only available to "johnny1by1" given to him/her/it by a super secret agent.
Maybe you can share with us the names of the lawyers representing the defendants in NY (including Praino once he's transferred). Now THAT would be interesting and perhaps some exclusive inside information...
BTW - I posted this super secret exclusive indictment in the files section.

Filed date doesn't equal date posted on PACER for one. This became publicly available about midnight last night, which is about when you posted it.
What you posted is from the Southern District of Florida, which is what I posted on Saturday morning when it wasn't publicly available. The stuff from the Eastern District of New York isn't available as of my post.

I do hope you realize that there are many people on this board who are quite familiar with the processes of PACER. Just so you know. But you go ahead and keep talking out of your ass.
