I took my Mother to David’s restaurant Saltwater for Mother’s Day and he was there in the kitchen working his balls off cooking on a Sunday, Mother’s Day. Dave came out from the kitchen on a break and talked to me and my Mother for awhile, nice guy. I don’t know anything at all about the other Salvo brother Christian. Dave is a really great cook that puts hours upon hours into his restaurant.
Saltwater actually finally got a liquor license this summer, which was great. It was BYOB previously.
If any of you guys go there, the gnocchi is to absolutely fucking die for. I heard the pizza is good too but I’ve still never ordered it cuz I always end up gettin the same Gnocchi dish in a blush sauce with Crab, Bangin’! Saltwater is a great restaurant.... End of my rant
In regards to Salvo... I know he’s There full time. And he seems to just be concentrating on his restaurant. But he’s smart. I don’t think he’s ever been pinched and previous to that restaurant, he was involved with the mob most of his adult life. He was a Former Ligambi bodyguard and driver and very close to Borgesi. He Still goes to all the mafia events gatherings.
So he’s either really smart with his involvement or he’s not involved at all and just a restaurant guy associate. But rumors were that he was made about 5 years ago.
