Re: Three Capos Murders
Is there any consensus about where this hit actually took place? I've read varying accounts.

Re: Three Capos Murders
I'm surprised Sammy hasn't done 2-3 episodes on this being his club and how it went down. Would be alot more interesting then his rambling about "trump"
Send word to Vladimir that you have his money, that he should come to the club tomorrow. We'll take care of the rest

Re: Three Capos Murders
Exactly. There's been so many varying accounts of where it took place. Even from legit Biographers and people with better access to court docs like DeStefano, to me, it's never been 100% firm. The location has ranged from a Social Club in Clinton Hill, to a Night Club in Coney Island. Have also heard that the Embassy Terrace 'club' was also both in Bensonhurst and Gravesend. The Clinton Hill one is weird just because that was never really a big LCN area, at least in the early 80s - even though guys like Cacace, Louis Attanasio, and D'Arco all grew up on the fringes of Clinton Hill.
If it happened at Sammy's club, we would have heard it from him (correct me if I'm wrong and he's said something about it). I think people may have their wires crossed between Sammy's "Plaza Suite" and where it actually took place

Re: Three Capos Murders
The 13th Ave / 67th Street location that was mentioned earlier in the thread makes the most sense. The building today looks like the perfect location for a social club or what used to be a social club. Hearing that the hit went down at a "night club" always struck me as weird.

He briefly mentioned the hit during his video about Massino/Vitale but never claimed any role in it.newera_212 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:55 pm If it happened at Sammy's club, we would have heard it from him (correct me if I'm wrong and he's said something about it).

Re: Three Capos Murders
Yeah I remember catching that. The same episode where Sammy really shows his distate for Massino. I guess he considers their situations different - but I wonder if Sammy were in Massino's situation (i.e. the Feds making him tape Basciano in lockup) what he would have done...RamshackleMan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 10:21 amHe briefly mentioned the hit during his video about Massino/Vitale but never claimed any role in it.newera_212 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:55 pm If it happened at Sammy's club, we would have heard it from him (correct me if I'm wrong and he's said something about it).
Anyway, the timeframes don't really line up either. Massino and Vitale had a relationship with the Ozone Park Gambinos (as seen from them helping with disposal of bodies from this very murder) but at that time, Gotti and Sammy weren't "together" yet and I'm going to guess Massino didn't have a relationship with Sammy that was independent of Gotti, or one that pre-existed Sammy's position in the Gambino Admin all together. So the hit taking place at one of Sammy's clubs is probably not true at all.

Re: Three Capos Murders
Agreed. Massino was a Queens guy like Gotti while Sammy was a Brooklyn guy. If it happened in Brooklyn, likely would’ve been thru someone else he had been connected withnewera_212 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 11:52 amYeah I remember catching that. I wonderr how history would have unfolded if Sonny Red's faction had wiped out the other side and gained control. Would have been a huge problem for Joe Pistone, for sure.

I personally like discussing what if scenarios even if they are GBB style...RamshackleMan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:36 pm I wonderr how history would have unfolded if Sonny Red's faction had wiped out the other side and gained control. Would have been a huge problem for Joe Pistone, for sure.
