That was the main question that I was asking myself.
Not just Gene, but all of his uncles: Richard, Peter,
Gene, then Agnello in Ohio. D'amico and all of the old
Gotti crew members that are still around. John, Sr.
was schooled enough to know he would have to tell all
of the above to give his namesake a pass for shelving
himself and forego retribution. BUT, this documentary
takes Junior's situation to a very public and unacceptable
level. Gotta believe some Gotti's are not ok with the
open admissions.

This docu and in his book he is admitting to being a captain and acting boss.

Yeah on 60 Minutes his lawyer kept interrupting when Jr was asked about certain things. I was wondering the same thing,i mean Joe Bonanno got in trouble for things in his book but maybe there is a difference in writing it and saying it or maybe he got paid enough that he dont care.

interesting that jr talks about when he got made. said they asked bunch of questions beforehand and he was made. in reality, when he was asked if he knew why he was there he said "to have my button." which was looked down by a lot of people.
