I dunno... might be just me but I think it would take a lot more than a captain asking an associate in his crew to kick up to get a captain slapped by a high ranking older guy in the fam and knocked down..
honestly I've heard trucchio is not the most well liked based on his attitude... people were saying roc has what it takes to be a leader in the fam as long as he stays out of trouble, heard he's well liked.

Trucchio sounds like a real hot head, maybe the 10 years in prison and demotion will calm him down. I remember PB saying he got into several beefs, including one with Tore LoCascio that was serious.

The people. dsbaloo, PB and Lalange on gbb all said Trucchio was demoted and monk sassano got his crew, he was slapped by Vernace, about 6 months later Capeci reports the exact same thing, trucchio is broke down from captain and Sassano gets the crew, only difference is instead of Trucchio getting slapped he was 'assaulted' maybe the slap didn't happen but given they got the other details right, it wouldn't surprise me

Well when you've got people who know a bit and Capeci saying the same thing I don't see why you'd question it tbh, and dsbaloo did break the news on gbb, I wasn't on gbb too long but dsbaloo was a good poster, it's good to see him over here posting.

I wasn't sure if capeci mentioned it so I didn't want to say it and get called out for people thinking I'm spewing even more b.s. I knew some "real" source did end up stating a similar story I was told with all the same key points.. it's crazy to me and actually kind of bums me out that you guys think what I said is some total outlandish bullshit lie that could have never happened... listen I've never been some kid on this board or the other of claiming or being accused to have some secret street source and coming up with far fetched breaking news stories that are total bullshit about these guys. I seriously never have. Honestly the roc trucchio thing I was reluctant to post and waiting a while until the thread came up discussing it, in fear of being called a bullshitter... not saying I know tons of intimate secrets and all the freshest street gossip from all the 5 families but there are more than a handful of things I've heard from people who are in a position to be in the know that I've refrained from posting strictly cause I don't want start a pissing match about it being complete bullshit just cause it wasn't stated by capeci, Anastasia, or the FBI.

i Agree WG. If the tables were turned, Quiet Dom would expect the same
from another member. QD is old school. Is old enough to have been involved
in the mob's heyday. His son fucked up and paid the price. The son's ego got the
best of him. There is a video of the son out there talking in front of the family
house up in Pelham. The son seemed dumb and dumpy FWIW. Not surprised he
ended up dead.

The thing here gentlemen is : You dont know what's going on Behind closed doors. We can speculate til the cows come home about the Where and the How he ended up in the position he is in.
(For all we know AT was sleeping around with Roc's wife and the brother found out some how, which caused Truc to hound the brother to make sure he kept his mouth shut with threats of violence.)
Of course complete and utter made up Speculation and also just one of 10 million scenarios that could have caused his Demotion within the Family.

I guess I did? On here and the other place atleast.. it's weird how I thought it was taken as fact that trucchio did indeed get knocked down.. then when someone tries to give what they believe to be the real truth of why everyone believes I forgot to take my psych meds and decided to make it up because it sounded good..

I heard about the story I told quite a while before I ever mentioned it.. and before I posted it I made small talk with people I deem credible and by 2 different people all I did was mention roc or trucchio.. nothing about Vernace or any altercation just about either of them separately around that time and the first responses I got from the 2 other people (besides the person who told me) were of similar stories.

And the quiet doms son debate will never end. I've never waivered for a second that vinny killed him. Or gave the order but he was grimey enough I think he probably did it himself. I'm sorry but I don't see vinny taking someone comingbat his sons lightly. Remember what he did to santoro for talking about kidnapping one of his kids? )2 put like 5 shotgun slugs into him.
