If Nicky Scarfo jr was sentenced today, he is probably looking at 5 years given no violence , he got screwed with 30 years. Today there is very little incentive to not be in the mob if you just focus on making $. Gambling, weed, loansharking, construction, check cashing, no one gives a Fuck and no one is getting more than a few years. The mob caught a big break with this change that could allow them to earn big for years until attrition eventually takes its toll.

Case like scarfo Jr it's to late to flip. I think it's 1 yr after the conviction you can't make a deal an flip. He either gets a appeal or sometype of re-entering because the judge smoked him for basically being a mafia guy
