Given it's Capeci (and his entire narrative of Calandra's dust-up at a coffee shop incorrect), I'm going to assume there was a confrontation - verbal - where voices raised and former thugs making testosterone-driven threats. At some point, a punch "may" have been thrown and "potentially" one of the two went down. I'm presuming this the case. Durso is of course a rat but his story has never been put to the test as all of the defendants took plea deals which is not indicative that the motivating factors of his cooperation validated.

1. We are aware of Durso's repeated claim of an unpaid debt by Polito and reacting by contracting a murder of the debt-holder, Durso's cousin. I did read - wish I can locate - an active street guy's commentary that it not true. There was another financial arrangement - maybe where Polito paid back the money - and moves made against Polito - financially and physically; hence, he reacted.

2. Durso as a tough guy. Based on Durso's account, he attempted to murder Polito but the shotgun jammed. All of you can determine the truth of this, if you have experience with weapons, I don't.

3. Durso cites several assaults of hang-around guys; maybe it true he is good with his hands. But are the underlying root causes true? such as wire-room operator being incompetent.

4. Sending a letter warning of your martial arts skills is completely silly. What to read of such a claim while trying to accept Durso may be a tough guy?

So no updates on this alleged confrontation?

Off-topic here, I came across a video of the Unknowns MC in Brooklyn. This the Club allegedly in a confrontation in a Marlboro, N.J. restaurant. They were supposedly about to ride to L.I. to demand their vests back from the H.A. MC (whatever this means).
