I've seen Franzese turn the "New Yawkese" on and off, depending on what he's trying to accomplish. He comes off much more intelligently than the other two, and more sincere as well. When he doesn't know something or somebody, he'll typically cop to it, as opposed to Alite who probably tried to kill the guy at one time or at the very least hit him with a baseball bat. I can take the John and Gene thing in small doses, but find Franzese somewhat more interesting.
With that said, all three are obviously trying to cash in and will take varying levels of liberties with the truth. Borello selling t-shirts and Franzese offering to make guys into his "inner circle" is a bit much.

If they wanted to make a difference -- all of them -- this change their so big on and keep spouting left and right then why don't we see you doing something positive instead of constant hawking of merchandise and memberships and one-way pissing contests of who's the real gangster. They should all have a podcast together between their each individual fantasy tales and Canarsie insistence that he's a mob expert while reading his mob histories directly off of Wikipedia.

It still boggles my mind that I cannot find any documentation on Borrello. Not even in the state system. Rubeo. Russo. Most of the documentation is there though I haven't been able to find Hootie's sentencing report. Pasqua, probably the biggest loser of them all, his documentation is still in limbo as his lawyer is fighting the unsealing of some of those documents.

If you can go on podcasts then all of that documentation should be available to the general public. Hide addresses and other information, but why is everything else a secret?

I was willing to put my issue with Jeff aside when this Rubeo stuff came up. He had allll the Rubeo documents so that he could go at them with facts. He always talks about all the court documents, tapes, and proof he has. He has a website (a free blogpost site) where he could have written an article or posted them up or portions of them up. He didn't. He could've done a podcast citing the proof to contradict all that was said and backed it up with posting the proof. He didn't. Yet he continues to talk tough behind the mic even going at them again this last podcast.

It's bullshit. You block people on Instagram and Facebook for no reason because they go back at you (I'm blocked after ONE interaction with him on FB where he came at me and tried to educate me on being a journalist). He only (which he admitted on this last podcast) will let you follow him on Instagram if he knows you. If you consider yourself a "radio host" and "public personality" well, you take the good with the bad. You can't turn around in your rants and say "you'll never survive if you can't take criticism" and then block anyone that slap backs at you. Obviously, if there is someone harassing you, you can block them, turn them off. But if you're going to go at people then you need to expect that those same people are going to come at you.

Add in the fact that he's switching platforms (which is sort of interesting that he said he's going to have exclusive content available on YouTube which just happens to be the way the Bozo show is doing it with their ridiculous tiers on Patreon) and saying he's doing it because people are copying off him. Who the hell is copying off you? I was literally called out by one of his "fans" because in one of my first podcasts I say I'm going down rabbit holes. How the hell would I even know he used that and secondly is that some exclusive phraseology? Not to mention that that "question" from his "fan" came from a fake FB account.

Plus, you're a public personality but you're not going to let everyone join your new platform. I don't get it. You don't have comments available on your channel when there's an option to moderate comments so if there are really bad comments, you can delete them. Easy peasy.

And then of course we have the issue of him reading his histories and bios directly off Wikipedia and acting like all those other morons in various FB groups - like its their own work. His Montana and this Bonanno thing are two examples that I know of for sure after someone brought it to my attention and I checked myself. If you want to use Wiki that's your perogative and I don't care. However, at least say. oh, this is Wikipedia and I'm just adding in nuances just to make it sound like I wrote it. And my issue with that is that he criticized me for allowing Ruckus radio to read some of our stories on his show. Well, he gives us credit, says where the article is from and from what I've seen he gives credit to every other article he reads. And even if he DIDN'T who the hell are you to call people out when you would be doing the exact same thing reading WIKIPEDIA.

And please don't get me started on his BS exaggerations because that will take me all day. I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt but when you say that you were the landscaper for Tomasso Buscetta before you knew he was Tomasso Buscetta (when he was in hiding apparently), there are some serious ethical issues there. So that kind of BS makes me question anything that comes out of his mouth. If you want to have your schtick fine, but at least be honest about it.

As far as Gene, he's engaging in online bullying which is just dumb whether or not Jeff sets himself up for that or not. I don't understand how he got involved with the other bozo but it's like oil and water. The only one that I've seen so far (and I've only watched Rubeo and Hootie) that has some sort of authenticity at least in how he presents himself, and I hate to say it, is Hootie at least parts of it. After he gets over his ass kissing of the ringleader, there is at least a bit of genuineness in how he talks and how he started off in that interview. I have no respect for any of them. This is the life you chose so you have to take the good and the bad whatever it may be, young or old, but I am trying to be fair.

So, for all of Jeff's tough talk about how they'll never have me on their show because they don't want anyone calling him out that's said constantly.....well there was the invitation. He could've done it via video. i doubt that if jeff would have taken the challenge that Gene would've backed down.
