I know I read somewhere that the Genovese had a 2 block rule for their card games. No other family could operate a game within 2 blocks.

I’ll see if I can find where I read that.

It was a general rule among all the families, as well other operators, involving the numbers racket. Fish Cafaro talked about it.

Yes, other operators that included the Cuban Corporation as well.

Charlie Moose had opened a after hour club (mid 1970's) on the westside (w4th st.) he had invested $50,000 , very soon after opening it was burnt to the ground. Moose asked for a meeting with Chin , was denied the sit down.
