Furio, there is no family anymore--how many times do we have to go through this? Plus, some of these guys you mention have been dead for a while

Is it really so hard to believe that he is hearing things from his neighbor and people from Little Italy? Why are you guy's trying so hard to put this guy down and run off someone who is only sharing what he hears on the street? ;)

Big difference between this guy and Bronx.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

It goes back to Pogo's very apt "Forrest Gump of the mob" analogy on the RD forum years ago. Originally applied to Angelo, other posters have followed suit since then. Somehow they are in a position to have inside info on not just one family but several. Sometimes in multiple states around the country. Needless to say it is, or should be, one of the surest signs they're full of it. A few might have some info but, as I said, they often can't help themselves and go beyond what they are really in a position to know or have heard.

As for Furio, I don't think he'll ever stop taking Internet charts at face value no matter the source.

I think intelligent members here can discern for themselves who is intentionally bullshitting with false information, if not then that's a reflection of poor intelligence.

I don't think Furio was trying to piss anyone off, but I wouldn't have worded it as a definitive source about "what remains." My one question though is why, just fucking why do you keep reposting these charts? You've been chastised for it at least 3 times that I've seen. Are you hoping one day you'll strike gold and someone will jackpot these charts' accuracy? Not gonna happen. Many of the US families are dissolved and inactive. Many people can't accept that. Case in point when Joe Todaro of Buffalo died, someone online looked at the FBI hierarchy from 1986 and concluded that consigliere Leonard Falzone "probably got the top spot." Based on fucking what!? It's frustrating when people jump the gun on shit. All those charts are halfbaked shitpies of rumor/theories/allegations/speculations thrown together by the likes of MobFan, Giacomo Vacari etc etc. You could PM any of those dipshits with new info about a captain you made up in your head and they'd include it on their chart. Do you really want to keep their fucking bullshit alive, Fur?

What will it take for you to drop this shit? JCB is one of the top Cleveland experts here, he is in contact with longtime CL mob historian Allan May, he's related to Youngstown mobsters. Perhaps he can put this shit to rest. Ask him, whatever, here, now!

I'm not attacking you, you're a paison. OK, you're Napolitan but I can overlook that. But come on, this chart shit has gotta stop. Chiedo umilmente di voi!

Good thing the local Little Italy residents and yuppies are so revealing about mob info to tourists, we might never have known the truth. I'm going to Ybor today and I mght stop by Columbias and inquire about LoScalzo's capos and see if I have the same luck down here.

I'm not A tourist. My neighbor Grew up in Little Italy. I get to talk with some current and former Little Italy residents. The mob is gone from Little Italy. It operates in the Cleveland metropolitan area. I think people who grew up in the neighborhood would have some insight. Also People don't mind sharing some stories from the past. The difference is, you'r probably some nerd who doesn't know anyone.

*sigh* Posters like this give gangsterbb a bad name. However for their efforts there were ridiculed as well, to their credit.

One thing I've tried to hammer home is there only being 9 or 10 families left - the 5 NY families, New Jersey, New England, Philadelphia, Chicago, and arguably Detroit. That's not according to me but to the feds and most OC experts. And it's born out by the cases involving these families. Compared to the past I think most on the forums have accepted this reality but we still get a few here and there who want to believe otherwise and try to convince others. Their methods are often lots of anecdotes and phony charts.

More common still is the aversion many on the forums have to an empty throne. They can't stand it. They HAVE to have somebody there, even if it means putting him there themselves. They're not content to simply wait for more info. They gotta have somebody be the new boss NOW. Why? I don't know. Maybe for bragging rights later on if they happen to guess right.
