Its not the $$$ that is the issue. Its the act of going in there with guns drawn and putting the lives at risk of the men who were inside the place. These are not just associates, these were bosses. They are very lucky they didn't pull the trigger if this really happened.

I get that it's about more than money but lets face it, the mob isn't what it used to be, there's rats with YouTube channels and nothing happens to them which I'm sure makes some people think these mob guys are easy pickings these days.

Yikes this story is crazy. If it’s true as described then I think that the perpetrators are more than likely renegades & that the robbery wasn’t properly sanctioned.
Also if this story isn’t BS then I think that the Bonannos will respond with something. It’s just a question of when they’ll respond and whether it’s going to be fatal.

If the boss's money was stolen, if the offical underboss and the acting consig/powerful Capo had guns waved in their faces, robbed. Someone has to go.

This isnt a social club getting hit, this isnt a made guy getting hit. The boss is the representative of a family on the street. He was robbed. HIS representative, the UB, had a gun stuck in his face. This is as big a slap in the face to those two guys personally, the borgata and hell, the mafia as a whole.

If this is true, you can pretty much take it to the bank that nothing will happen to the robbers. Maybe one of their cars will get set on fire or something in that vein.
