Prior to being a member, he was also involved in a minor incident with a customer at Guzzo's Pearl Room whose brother-in-law Peter LNU was also a Castellucci "cousin"

Not sure if there if they are his actual relatives (probably not?) but thought it was worth noting the apparent closeness

Interesting. As I've previously said Gambino acting capo Louis Epifania was/is very close to Big John so makes sense if they are related. I'm pretty sure Lou was acting capo for one of the Staten Island based crews, I wonder if it was Camuso's. Robert Epifania was under Thomas Cacciopoli in the mid 2000s but I think he could've been with the Giordano crew at some point too. Camuso likely took over that crew in around 2013.

Pennisi did say Gene and Corozzo are jockeying for position but to me it didn't seem like Pennisi was speaking as if he had inside information on Gene or Corozzo but more so like "that's the way the life is so of course they're jockeying for more influence and power." Imo this didn't confirm anything.

He did mention that Mannino gave positions to Paradiso, DiMaria and Vallario as an olive branch to the American guys which seems like a confirmation of some previous info but you’re right nothing was fully confirmed which is why I used the word ‘seemingly’ to describe it.

I do agree with that, although considering the rest seems to be based on what Nadu and Scott have said and the fact nothing has been released about DiMaria, I also suspect he said that based on what Scott has said.

I trust that Pennisi a former member with friends still in the life and around it, family members still in the neighborhood is able to corroborate information before he talks about it. He’s never been shy about saying ‘I don’t know’ when he doesn’t in the past so I don’t see why he’d start parroting things coming from Nadu or Burnstein if they are in fact not true. To me Pennisi’s more have much more weight than anything those other guys say.

I thought so as well. I understood the video to be about young powerful capos (Ernie and Campos) having to wait their turn as senority plays a central role, he even opens up talking about how naturally associates want to be made, buttons want to be Capos and Capos want admin. He's saying he doesn't have specific info that it's just the natural dynamic.

The perceived 'olive branches' of Paradiso/Vallario is also a complete baseless assumption of a zero proof of existence of a 'gotti faction'.
IMO Vallario was chosen for no other reason than a respected figure who flys incredibly low under the radar. No one on here has heard his name in 25 years.

I don't think the Sicilian faction give two shits about any last Gotti faction., if it ever existed.
They've been in power solidly for 15ish years. Cefalu, Mannino, Cali, John Gambino, Cherry Hills.
Corrozo may have pushed for Consig when Paradiso stepped down, but he's an ambitious guy. Who isn't. But.. faction!?
I think this faction/placate the Gottis is absolute bullshit. Paradiso was a name out of the blue. So was Vallario. These are long time we'll respected low key guys. That's all.
I don't think Cefalu or Mannino give two fucks about what Gene or Nicky want. They just see heat and LE. Can you honestly imagine the heat with Gene gotti as consig?!
Vallario and Mickey are simply the opposite of Gene and Nicky.
