You can sanction a restaurant based on how many times an OC member eats there?

There are three Moretti locations in Montreal. The only one that might be sanctioned is in Griffintown. IMHO, the “type” of patron isn’t the issue.

Toronto also has a Moretti location that has been here for close to 5 years:

No problems at the Toronto venue.

Celestin is said to be the one who is replacing Woolley's role in Montreal.

Article from today:
Three individuals will spend the weekend in prison

Lapresse reported in a March 23 article that Anti shared (posted below) that Celestin was recently seen wearing a Maraurders MC jacket but police didn't consider him a member of the club yet. In Lapresse's article from today they are now reporting Celestin has joined the MC. Have to wonder what this means for the relationship between Celestin and the Rizzuto-Sollecito group or even possibly the relationship between the HA and the Maraurders MC.

I've felt like this has been coming for awhile.

I'll keep asking the question.

Everyone makes these list of Montreal players, how they connect to each other and to who.

But they never include the Mexicans. And they never really go into how this affects the local underworld.

No independent importer is competing with the cartels.
Only a South American connect, combined with a reliable means of import can beat Mexican prices. This WAS the Italians. Maybe still a few have these capabilities? Miriarchi and possibly Pizzi. D'damo seems like a distributor like Sal Scoppa. But they still won't be able to source as much volume.

Hahaha, no it's just the way of speaking in Quebec, it's not a journalist's thing. You imagine the same article in a French newspaper it won't be the same, we'll also say 250 grams.

The French spoken in Quebec is different from the French spoken in France. It's especially in oral conversations more than in writing, but there are sometimes funny things like the thing you just pointed out
