I would think the same too, since in the Gallo crew there was a few made guys as well.

There were several made guys with Gallo, but it might have been more of an alliance between a group of soldiers rather than a formal crew headed by Crazy Joe.

Gallo wasn't a captain. He and his brother Larry were soldiers when they broke off from Profaci. Then, when Joey got out of prison in 1971 he was still a soldier. Joe Colombo thought about assigning Joey to his own personal regime but then things played out the way they played out.

It's always interesting to find out that people who are commonly thought of as captains were actually just soldiers. It goes to show how much influence a soldier can have. Greg Scarpa is another example; you would be hard-pressed to find a book or article that doesn't label him a captain, yet he only held that rank for two years out of his thirty-plus years as a made man.

Was Chuckie Merlino supportive of Joey becoming boss or did he stay out of it?

Was the Rampers street gang in the 60s exterminates by the mob? If so what was the reason and who were some of the members? And by members I mean others apart from the ones we know, Casso, Pappa, Gravano, etc.

Just saw two clips of the film 'Lost Highway'. First clip of the 'Mystery man' at the party then the final scene. Actually looks like a decent flick.
The fat cop in the final scene looked familiar.

Let me know if anybodies seen the film if its a worthwhile watch.

Oh, the fat cop.

Did anybody figure out who 'Joe Bosch' (Bosco?) was? Mentioned by Petey Lovaglio in testimony as running the family around 2010 with Vinnie TV?

Nothing definitive but most likely a reference to member Guiseppe Bosco.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
