I’m pretty sure a Colombian Cartel was behind those guys, they dominated the market during that time. I think they were just intermediaries.

Not sure if it’s true because Montiglio can be sketchy but he said the Cubans were ready to go to war but the Demeo crew killed Chris and everything else was forgotten

Yeah Nino Gaggi pressured Roy DeMeo to kill his protege Chris, also to make sure the kill made it to the papers so that they can see & make sure it’s true. I think Roy became an even more psychotic individual after that murder.

The author (Jean-Pierre Charbonneau) says he worked in Detroit. Is he really from Detroit before coming to Chicago, or is it a mistake by the author?

Which years was Greg Scarpa Sr. a captain? I remember someone saying that he was an official captain from 1960 to 1963 and an acting captain from 1982 to 1984, but does anyone know if that's been confirmed 100%?
