Re: General Mob Questions
Thank you. That makes more sense than William I suppose.
Re: General Mob Questions
Vito doesn't have an equivalent in English. Guglielmo is William. Vittorio is Victor.

Second one is okay.

Re: General Mob Questions
American pronunciation of Italian names is so butchered. A lot of families have had their names mispronounced so many times that they've just adopted the incorrect ways.

I don't know, I've always fancied how Lorraine Bracco called Tony, 'Toh-neee'.

So true, Snakes. Valachi and Luciano come to mind. On those TV docs, Selwyn Raab always says Lucy ano instead of Looch e ano. Bugs me.
You know you're Italian if you had to interrupt your teacher just before she tries to pronounce (butcher) your last name. But once everyone can pronounce it, they call you by it.
They just butchered our last name last night at the cancer walk. Every year it's a different pronunciation.
Snakes, you're an excellent poster. You seem to have the perfect temperament, too. Thanks for your contributions. We can learn a lot from you

Tie-ins.
I remember reading Gravano's Bio and he states he did 'tie-ins' with various decina's to reinforce loyalty etc.
Ive never, ever heard any other reference before or after about 'tie-ins'.
Do they exist? Any info gents? Anything?
