Re: Sammy gravano making a fool of himself
Sammy Gravano’s latest episode makes me laugh.. he put himself in Tommy Pitera’s demise, he went to his house & Tommy showed him his weird collections & he told Tommy to throw it all away and clean himself up. Out of so many things he can speak upon, he decides to put himself in situations most people know he wasn’t there.

Holy shit. That seems to confirm my suspicions about Sammy. The guy of course lead an extremely interesting life and interacted with some of the most legendary personalities in mafia history, but he already told us his story over 20 years ago and with a podcast he needs a steady stream of "content" so now he becomes the Forrest Gump of the mob.Shellackhead wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:34 pm Sammy Gravano’s latest episode makes me laugh.. he put himself in Tommy Pitera’s demise, he went to his house & Tommy showed him his weird collections & he told Tommy to throw it all away and clean himself up. Any predictions for what scenario he will shoehorn himself into next? I think he's probably gonna say he met Donnie Brasco "and I pulled Lefty to the side and said bro, I think this guy is an undercover agent, bro."

All of these informants get information wrong, but I think there’s a clear distinction in *how* they get it wrong. Guys like Arilotta, Pennisi, and Hootie might get some stuff wrong, but you can tell it’s just because they have bad info and not necessarily because they are trying to make themselves seem more important. On the other hand you have Alite, Franzese, and Sammy—who always end up in the middle of the story they are getting wrong, which to me seems much more dishonest.

The whole spiel on pitera sounded forced and unnatural. He's trying to placate his audience, who are asking him tons of questions about big time killers like demeo and pitera.Shellackhead wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:34 pm Sammy Gravano’s latest episode makes me laugh.. he put himself in Tommy Pitera’s demise, he went to his house & Tommy showed him his weird collections & he told Tommy to throw it all away and clean himself up. Yeah his story follows the latest Alite podcast that had a friend of Piteras on. Idk why Gravano is doing it like this.Shellackhead wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:34 pm Sammy Gravano’s latest episode makes me laugh.. he put himself in Tommy Pitera’s demise, he went to his house & Tommy showed him his weird collections & he told Tommy to throw it all away and clean himself up. Eventually hes going to run out of stories and hes going to have to turn his show into just a free flowing podcast where he has guests on and they talk about other things beside lcnHired_Goonz wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 3:50 pmHoly shit. Re: Sammy gravano making a fool of himself
I doubt if that would work because he sounds like a boring drunk idiot at a bar when he talks about non-mob stuff.

Re: Sammy gravano making a fool of himself
This is what I was saying in another thread a few months ago. Eventually all of these guys are going to run out of stories. If they really wanna monetize their name and life story, they are all gonna have to team up and do some wiseguy iteration of Next Top Chef, Dancing With the Stars, Real World, Survivor, etc.
Either that *OR* they are going to have to convince a lot more informants that haven’t gone public to come out and tell their stories. If Sammy got a hold of Joey Massino or Al D’arco, they could probably squeeze a several months of content out—if not longer. But it’s been kinda the same half dozen guys for a while now. The informant game needs new blood.

If Sammy wants to get in touch with Al D'Arco he will need a Ouija board.

I wonder what ever happened to Joey D'Amico. I bet he's got some good stories.

If Joe massino does decide to go public he will do it on his own platform.JM is too much of a big name to give his stories to another channel.Amershire_Ed wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 12:57 pm

Definitely, imagine the stories/information he could tell during between 70s-00s.bluehouse wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 3:10 amIf Joe massino does decide to go public he will do it on his own platform.JM is too much of a big name to give his stories to another channel.Amershire_Ed wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 12:57 pm
