Giancana’s killer revealed?

Re: Giancana’s killer revealed?
I think we are just going to have to wait for more information. I personally don't believe Accardo pulled the trigger and that the Giancana case is solved. I'm not calling Jr a complete liar, but I think he misinterpreted what his dad said or wrote. We just need more info. Yes his statements have to be considered also till proven correct or false.

I think ‘new’ information would be few and far between. The murder was over 40 years ago. I can’t imagine we’re likely to ‘uncover’ additional info.

I'm referring to the info that Antiliar is requesting pertaining to this new info that Accardo pulled the trigger on Giancana and that the Giancana hit is solved and closed. Also the info that Pete may get from going on Calabrese's mob tour.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 11:40 am I think ‘new’ information would be few and far between. Re: Giancana’s killer revealed?
I didn't say it was a fact that the Giancana murder was solved at the Family Secrets Trial. I qualified what I wrote with phrases like "Frank Jr" told me, "Frank Sr told him" and "apparently." I also said that I contacted the FBI to request more information on this. I don't believe it's a "fact," but Frank Jr does. I would like some confirmation. However, I also believe Frank Jr to be credible. Credible doesn't mean I believe everything he says is accurate, but that he is conveying information that he honestly believes to be true.Confederate wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 5:32 amYou're mising the point. Antiliar stated as a fact that the Giancana murder was solved at the Familiy Secrets Trial. I am saying that is completely false. That is my ONLY point, nothing else.Snakes wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 5:04 am Corbitt isn't a great source on the matter, IMO. Binder is a researcher and I'm sure he's considered the Accardo theory or is waiting on more information. The news thing was a Goudie piece, if I remember correctly, so all of a sudden he's credible now?
Receiving new information is all about challenging yourself to dig deeper to get to it all, not dismissing it with a hand wave because you've been conditioned to believe different for all these years. I'm not saying you should accept it outright but it is still something that should be examined thoroughly

This detail is a little bit off topic but I believe its worth to mention and that is, when the cops searched Sams house after his murder, they found an interesting picture on his working desk in which Giancana posed with Pope Pius XII, who in turn was the Pope of the Catholic Church from 1939 until his death in 1958.

Only natural to have two bosses of major crime families want to have a picture taken.Villain wrote:This detail is a little bit off topic but I believe its worth to mention and that is, when the cops searched Sams house after his murder, they found an interesting picture on his working desk in which Giancana posed with Pope Pius XII, who in turn was the Pope of the Catholic Church from 1939 until his death in 1958.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Another quite interesting detail during Giancana's search of his house were the detailed graphs of records regarding his "luck" on the race tracks during the year of 1952, since it was obviously the most "lucky" year for the Outfit's underboss at the time because he won over 70% of all bets which he placed on those same races. Besides having the winning tickets placed on the wall, he also placed the loosing ones so he can show his own "skills" at the time. This is obvious that the Mob at the time knew almost 80% of the results and always informed their needed political or any kind of government associates such as Hoover, who later turned their backs...

Heres one quote from Gus Alex himself who referred to one of his crew bosses Louis Tornabene regarding degenerate gambling..."It’s a sucker’s game. You can’t win out there, you understand. We got the percentages rigged all in our favor. The longer you stay, the more you play, the more chances you got of losing. I don’t let nobody around me who gambles. A couple thousand, okay, but no gambling!”Stroccos wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 10:22 amThat’s hilarious , “Certainly the game is rigged. Re: Giancana’s killer revealed?
Some of what Frank Jr. believes is most probably not true either because his Father lied or way exagerated something to him or he misunderstood him or Frank Jr. might POSSIBLY be inventing things to gather interest for a new book. I mean, who knows? Have to go by what the Feds say about the Giancana Murder and about how much the Calabrese Street Crew earned over his opinion.Antiliar wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 10:05 pmI didn't say it was a fact that the Giancana murder was solved at the Family Secrets Trial. The funny thing about Frank Jr. is that he always says in his interviews how much he hated the life and how he was manipulated into doing some bad things because of his Father but he wants to relive it everyday with a tour even after he's talked about it extensively and even written a book about it. LOL

Jr probably looks at it as catharsis or a way to cope with his crimes. Or not. Who knows? It is beneficial to him in some way.
You keep mentioning Sr or Nick having exaggerated and told lies but your only two examples are Sr misstelling a part of a fictional book and Nick saying Tocco was made in 1983, which you haven't been able to dissprove. Even if there is a document out there listing Tocco as made prior to then it doesn't mean it didn't happen when Nick said it did. Why don't you ask B or HairyKnuckles how many times they saw a file from the sixties that listed a guy as made and it turns he wasn't made until much later?
I'm not trying to be difficult but if you are trying to prove someone is telling stories or giving false testimony you have to be able to back that proof up. Three skilled trial lawyers tried to catch both Jr and Nick in lies and were not able to do so.
