Like Joey always say's he can go ANYWHERE! The boss title was in name only since 2011. Joe Ligambi most likely is a family advisor still but doesn't hold any official rank as he is retired.

The top 2 guys in that organization of what is left are most likely steve mazzone (in jail) and Michael Lancelloti. Borgesi is up there but most likely has a seperate group that's still within the "family"

The Philly Mob is done. They might have a few bookmaking operations and some narcotics involvement.

Joey might still have the "boss" title but he's officially done. He most likely has kept the title for the others just to draw attention away from them. Joey is out telling his stories and letting others fund his lifestyle. He has nobody to fear from the "mafia" world and is welcome anywhere and if he wanted would be welcomed to interact with anyone who is in the "mafia" But he won't at this point because he himself knows it's all finished and he doesn't need to go back to jail. He will enjoy the rest of his life telling his stories, denying the existence of the "mafia" and being a member. He will continue to have others fund his business ventures and live off the proceeds.

As far as these rumours of New York going to Philly and kicking him out, it's all nonsense. They don't care about him because previously he's declared he was out. Also New York wouldn't even have anything going on in Philly now so money wise there is no threat. They wouldn't even risk the chance of having a meeting to discuss kicking him out, that would just be one more chance of getting caught by law enforcement. Joey definitely was an actual boss at one time, but now it's just a title and nobody has taken it away from him and nobody has put him on the "shelf"

It was rumoured his father left him 3-5 million when he passed away in jail. His father and Scarfo made major money in Atlantic City. Joey did loose lots gambling and did and still does have a reputation of guzzling bookies and businessmen. He's walked away from a lot of business ventures that involved legitimate people. They all don't do anything about it because they "fear" Joey due to this past reputation.

Joey is more concerned with who's going to pay for his dinner and drinks every night. He's not shelved and he still carries respect from people in the "mafia" When he was in jail who do you think paid for and put his daughters through college? Who took care of his family, wife etc? They all respected Joey and anyone who is left from that time who helped him out including alleged people from the genovense "mafia" have no problems with him at all.

This story of him being "shelved" is just something made up by mob groupies such as that bi-polar, mentally challenged Scott Bernstein who lives in a fantasy world of the mafia in his head.

Where are you getting this information from? Do have New York sources telling you this, or is this just your opinion?

I reported people in nyc were upset , Philly “restructured “ , Joey left the boss spot voluntarily before he launched the pod and still held an advisory role .

Jerry reported he was pushed out by nyc and Borgesi and put on the shelf.

Let’s at least be accurate in what I reported and what Capeci (the undisputed GOAT) reported .

I’m not sure which video , I know I wrote it in Gangster Report stories multiple times . I will look. I reported that he gave the family to GB and accepted an unofficial advisory role like a quasi consigliere .

No there isn't.

Normally a guy on the shelf would try to avoid those type of places so he doesn't get into a confrontation or awkward situation but we're talking about Joey Merlino here, he don't give a fuck and he knows no one is going to do or say anything to him in such a popular restaurant.
