According to our information, in recent years, Dupuis would have been in conflict with an individual who was himself the victim of an attempted murder last year in Laval.

Reference to Davide Barberio, who was shot in front of his kids at his house in Laval back on September 21, 2021.

LOL good catch Anti. That's my fault. I was looking up his previous attempted murder since I don't remember hearing about it when it happened and I guess si mixed the articles up.

[The victim] also noticed that the battery on his phone had died, so he couldn’t call for help. He said he managed to find two people outside the Notre Dame Basilica.

“I fell to my knees and they called for an ambulance,” the victim said. “I fell to one side and my shirt was off. I could see my blood flowing out. I was convinced I was going to die.”

If you fall to your knees in front of a church after getting stabbed in the face outside a bar, pray first. Or at least genuflect.
