I know people love to jump on new info but personally Cali not attending one specific gathering is just not significant enough information to state he's been demoted.
What if the guy was sick?
I mean, there are a million plausible reasons other than demotion which are all equally probable.

And demotion implies there is another power within the family powerful enough to instruct Cali to stand down or remove him. There is no evidence of this. People love to speculate about John Gambino et al but there is zero corroboration or evidence he is anything but a member in good standing at this point. 100% internet speculation at this point.

We're rewriting the whole Gambino administration based on Frank Cali not attending a party.
