Who holds more weight do we think out of Georgie Neck, Pagani and Bowat?

I'd rate Bowat, then Pagani then Georgie.DonPeppino386 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 7:11 pmI want to say Georgie Neck here to be honest.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 9:57 am Who holds more weight do we think out of Georgie Neck, Pagani and Bowat?

Re: Gang Land News 6 October 2022
Bowat was present when DeSantis became a made man in November of 1989.I think that Bowat is there because of how close Jefferson Park is to Rao’s which Bowat really likes. He deserves a Capo position but he is now 84 years old.Gangland didn’t identify him as a Capo but they did say that Frank Salerno was a Capo.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 9:51 amPagani, Georgie Neck & Bowat. Getting the band back together.Little_Al1991 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 9:32 amPennisi hinted that Frankie Bones Papagni is the new UB but Bowat is someone who definitely deserves that position. He formerly had it in an acting capacity when Vic and Gas went on the run.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 8:45 am Thanks chin, and great call on Bowat.
You'd think he's replaced Dellorusso as UB. Can't see a reason for him to be there unless he's a Capo or management. Either he's Villani's skipper or admin, one would assume.
Bowat would likely be a Capo (at least) if he was at this meet you'd assume.

Georgie Neck turned down the Acting Boss position originally back in 2017.Zappola is a capo in Brooklyn.Papagni is the UB it seems according to Pennisi and Bowat’s current position is unknown though I believe he’s a soldier.Pennisi said he’s of the shelf but not sure as to what Bowat is up to.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 9:57 am Who holds more weight do we think out of Georgie Neck, Pagani and Bowat?
I’d say it’s Papagni,Zappola and then Bowat

DeSantis took Baratta off the shelf when he became acting boss. Lastorino's still on the shelf though.Little_Al1991 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 2:41 am Pennisi said he’s of the shelf but not sure as to what Bowat is up to.

It’s not something about the life, it is their life. You spend 20-30 years risking your freedom and life to build a reputation and gain respect amongst your peers it’s not something easily cast aside.Little_Al1991 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 8:47 am There’s just something about that life which they can’t stay away from…

But these guys such as DeSantis and Zappola have done 18 years in prison for multiple murders and racketeering.Bowat has done 20 plus years in prison. These guys are extremely lucky to be out. They’ve done more than enough and guys like Bowat certainly are not in need of the money as he has his own table at Rao’sjohnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 4:04 amIt’s not something about the life, it is their life. Lastorino and DeSantis did speak when DeSantis became the Acting Boss but Lastorino is on the shelf from Vic Amuso’s orders and Vic despises Lastorino.chin_gigante wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 2:58 amDeSantis took Baratta off the shelf when he became acting boss. Joey DiBenedetto told John not to meet with Lastorino anymore because if it got back to Vic it would look bad, it could have caused John a problem

You’re making my point, yea correct they don’t need the money they don’t need the risk they don’t need to be mobsters anymore buts it’s their life it’s all they know and without that recognition they’d rather be dead. A real mafiosi would rather live a day as a lion then a lifetime as a lamb.Little_Al1991 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 4:17 amBut these guys such as DeSantis and Zappola have done 18 years in prison for multiple murders and racketeering.Bowat has done 20 plus years in prison. Good point. These guys enjoy this clearly and the informants such as Gravano and D’Arco have admitted that they miss the lifejohnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 4:25 amYou’re making my point, yea correct they don’t need the money they don’t need the risk they don’t need to be mobsters anymore buts it’s their life it’s all they know and without that recognition they’d rather be dead. Sometimes this needs to be said. Outsider-looking-in-perceptive can miss that this is not just one or two decisions in someone’s life, it’s an enduring subculture with deep links into peoples’ families, identities, etc.johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 4:04 amIt’s not something about the life, it is their life.
