1. John Spirito Jr.: Shelved for bringing what Lovaglio described as 'fake messages' to and from imprisoned Boss Michael Mancuso. Spirito previously responsible for an $80,000 debt owed by a Manhattan pot dealer. Lovaglio inherited this responsibility and collected approximately $30,000, half of which kicked up to Cammarano Jr. Captain Anthony Fasitta also received a portion after claiming an interest in the original deal.

2. Vincent Caroleo: Aka 'Vinny Goo', shelved by 2015. Lovaglio was instructed by Cammarano Jr. to have an associate (non-member) collect loanshark payments from Caroleo.

3. Simone Esposito: Shelved in 2015 for stealing $20,000 from the Family treasury.

I always thought the sons of Joe Colombo were shelved no? They kinda had their own crew outside of city limits. I was under the impression they were not kicking up to Carmine etc.

Bonnanos seem to be dysfuctional judging by all the shelved guys. Acting boss, underboss, two congliere. capos...judging by a quick glance.

That was mancuso making sure that there was no takeover now that he was out of prison.

His reason was the last trial made them look weak bc they kept switching titles and referenced as “musical chair admin”

I believe you are correct. I wonder if all these guys like Joe Jr and Porky are still shelved. If they are money makers Mancuso would want a piece. I have to assume they are back in the fold now that Mancuso is out. Makes no sense to weaken the family and cut revenue. Porky wouldn't stop making money because he is shelved. Not many guys would. They simply just pocket it and watch their back. Porky has been around forever. Hes got more friends in SI and Brooklyn then Mancuso from the Bronx could ever hope to.

Anthony Colombo (for sure) and Gerard Clemenza was shelved because was with Orena.

Do you remember when he said that? The BOP inmate tracker said he was released in 2010 and he was at that Gambino family party from a few years ago pictured on this forum.

He said it on a MBA & button man podcast. Weren't those pictures from 2017? He might have been off the shelf by then.

It was actually a defensive lawyer trial strategy and it worked great

As far as earning and not kicking up for which would actually be better for them…. None of there rackets stay with them. All mafia business is passed on to someone else.

Didn’t Borello claim there was a Bonanno member that got shelved fairly soon after he was made because he was putting dumb shit on social media about moving bodies and stuff? Or did the guy just get threatened with being shelved? I can’t remember the specifics.

I believe it was either Michael Palmaccio or Michael Padavona. Another thing that factored into the shelving was the fact he uploaded a picture of himself wearing speedos.

I also think he taken off the shelf very quickly, which shows how much of an organisational mess the Bonannos were at the time, not just on an administrative level.

You'd have to wonder how many guys get into trouble due to their conduct on SM.
