They said in between the 2 states. So maybe it was where he lived not where he grew up. But I do know they said the neighborhood he grew up was mixed so from my understanding it wasn't.a typical mobbed up neighborhood back then, but I'm sure it wasn't free from it eitherJakeTheSnake630 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 7:41 am Frank grew up in Roxbury not Sharon. He bought a house there when he got older, but def did not grow up there. Thats how he and Flemmi were so close they both grew up in Roxbury. Almost certain Salemme went to JP High when that was still a school.

Mobbed up as in LCN? No Roxbury was not compared to other sections. But there was plenty of OC and fringe groups. Wimpy Bennet's outfit was based out of Roxbury, which is where Stevie and Frank got their start. Roxbury was mixed back then between black and white, now is mostly black area.Tonyd621 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 8:25 amThey said in between the 2 states. Overall the podcast episode was great. I had never heard of Lato being UB, just Matty. But it would not surprise me that the UB is not actually who everyone has previously believed it to be.

Yeah it wasn't mobbed up as in LCN what I meant. More over also why his trusted sidekicks were Richie devlin and gillis-irish guysJakeTheSnake630 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 10:24 amMobbed up as in LCN? Thanks for that clarification. As someone who grew up a few towns over from Sharon, Frank definitely does not fit the mold of someone who grew up in SharonJakeTheSnake630 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 7:41 am Frank grew up in Roxbury not Sharon. Having grown up between Provi and Boston, gone to school in Providence then Boston and still living in the area, was nice to hear an episode about the area.JakeTheSnake630 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 10:26 am Overall the podcast episode was great. That was my fault. I meant to say he lived in Sharon and grew up in XSouthshore88 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 3:04 pmThanks for that clarification. Some ppl are missing the most crucial point jn that podcast though. That Tim White says there was some "pushing and pulling with Matty G" meaning he's not retired, quit, etc and with him back carries alot of weight. He's been around since the Gotti era with a good rep
Re: Original Gangsters podcast w/ Tim White (Feb 21)
I mean rhode island with just lato and matt g could easily recruit/induct a easy dozen guy if they wanted. If springfield is getting the ok to make guys who knows...
Re: Original Gangsters podcast w/ Tim White (Feb 21)
Wasn't Matty G made by Ray Sr.

According to the informants such as Flemmi in the document below. Matthew Guglielmetti was a close associate of Patriarca JrTonyd621 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 3:48 pm Some ppl are missing the most crucial point jn that podcast though.
