The context was the same. If he was a gang banger in a non Italian criminal organization do I think he would have been released? Absolutely I do.
I think bc he's Italian and he is associated with the mafia (which is not a crime to be apart of that group by the way) then no one gives a shit whether not he's innocent of this crime. There are many many scum of the earth cosa nostra members out there. I agree, based on what I read about Spataros case he's not one of them. Not yet at least

Doesn’t Romano have a felony conviction? If so, did Borello get special permission to communicate etc with him to work on the book?
