Yeah, that’s how Gene explained it, he was associate for some time after, did a few scores. Gene flipped in 2016? So I’m guessing he got made sometime 2016-2020 because he said he “heard he got straightened out in Long Island.” So he probably got made, and then transferred to a Bonanno Long Island Crew? One of the more knowledgeable people here might know who’s a captain or someone of influence out in Long Island for the Bonannos.

I know there's a LI based Capo with an extremely long ass last name that I don't feel like looking up but remember Johnny Mulberry is his nickname. Supposedly a Strip Club guy / owner. But, this guy was 'around' Ronnie and could have very well just been made into that Howard Beach crew. Some of the crew members lived on Long Island.

I'm sure this was touched on in at least one other thread on here, but does anyone know/recall who took over the Bonnano HB crew after Giallanzo (and Asaro) got sent away? Who's the Capo of that crew right now?

jerry asaro is on the street....im pretty sure hes now in control of that crew, but honestly no one is left. padavona/palmaccio still inside..festa..lol...thats it. a couple of hanger on associates like pisani home but up to nothing...

On the newest Johnny And Gene podcast, Gene is discussing a guy who they took in, screwed him over, and made him. Later on they found out the Genoveses shelved him. He discussed something with rusty money and jewelry heists etc. Does anyone know who he is referring to? He said his name was Joe Dicario(don't know the spelling of last name) and he was locked up with Ronnie at Fort Dix. I'm assuming before this last pinch, obviously.

Is he from DiCarlo Foods in Suffolk County or is his name john dicarlo jr?
