So Gravano says that Gotti was actually considering killing Sclafani because Sclafani shot back at the Bonanno hit team and the Bonannos were upset at him for interfering. Gravano also says that one of the Bonanno hitmen was killed because he and another hitman's father was an NYPD Officer, and they were being asked about the hit. I'm assuming he's talking about the Tuzzio brothers, but I can't find anything on their father.

I beleive this version more.How could the shooters who were doing an official hit for the whole 5 families (everyone wanted gus dead) could of known who was in the car with him also why the fuck was the son of a made guy hanging out with a guy who was responsible for the heat the feds bought down on the families?The father of this guy was lucky he didnt get whacked also

Greg Scarpa told Lin DeVecchio the story about Gotti wanting Tuzzio dead because he wounded Sclafani, according to the book Deal with the Devil. Idk if there was any other source with this same story besides Scarpa.

I dont beleive greg scarpa.How would he know what gotti and the gambino administration thought of this situation.Plus Sammy was right there dealing with it.

I think Sammy's rite about it. The bonannos killed furace and were pissed at the guy shooting at them. They probably killed tuzzio cause he was weak
