Pennisi didn't mention any names just locations for the seven crews so it's possible that DeSena was a captain at that time or he became a captain after the indictments in 2017.

here's my breakdown on the seven crews

Two Bronx crews - DeSimone crew (most likely a new captain there since the admin reshuffle) and the Crea crew (both sr and jr locked away so might have merged with the other Bronx crew by now)

One New Jersey crew - Ralph Perna

Two Long Island crews - Carmine Avellino and most likely Joseph DiBenedetto

One Staten Island crew - John Castelucci (Also Brooklyn)

And that leaves the Manhattan crew who I think is DeSena's. Capeci said that he can be seen on Hester Street in Little Italy.

Supposedly he beat some debtor he wasn't supposed to and got left out in the Cold . Supposedly he was called to Padavonas club and he refused to go and after they tried getting him going to him home sending bloods members and other members of the crew and at one point he was assaulted after that is when the Gambino thing and Merlino thing etc happened
