Call them real life monsters or demons...those types of people are still out there

Jesus that was brutal. What did this guy do to warrant that kid of extreme response?

He was arrested in a case related to the heroin trafficking of the French Connection and for a reason that I do not know Magaddino was afraid that he would speak to the cops. Did it deserve so much brutality I'm not sure ...

If that was the case then the poor guy obviously didnt deserve it. As for the fellas in Chicago who burglarized Accardos home, well thats another story. I mean who in their right mind will rob the house of one of the world's most brutal and highly respected Mob bosses at the time. The fellas obviously had a lot of balls, but no brains

Yeah I vaguely remember Valachi mentioning this guy in his book. So if they suspected him of informing the probably tortured him to get him to confess. Still pretty damn extreme.

Speaking of Valachi there was the murder of Sam Monaco in Jersey. According to Valachi he had an "iron pipe hammered up his ass". :o

DAMN!

Btw wasnt Colombo's father also found tortured with his dick being placed in his own mouth?

Also any of you ever heard of a torture techique called "necklacing” or "horse collaring"? They will fill a rubber tire (usually from a bicycle or a simple water hose) with petrol and then place it around a victim's chest and arms, and set it on fire. Story goes that some victims may take up to 20 minutes and will experience pure hell before dying from the high degree burns or from all of the black smoke which goes straight into the nostrils. The Mafia in Italy sometimes uses this type of method

Yeah his father Anthony was killed and castrated for sleeping with a members wife.

Necklacing was a favorite technique of Nelson Mandela and the ANC communists in South Africa. If you've ever seen The Americans (great show by the way) in one season they show an Afrikaner getting necklaced by the commies.

I know the show but never saw that situation since ive watched little of it. Thanks for the additional info and yeah some of the most gruesome members of the Mafia are small potatoes compared to some African fellas

William Action Jackson- tough to beat this one. Being hung on a meat hook...by his rectum. Being burnt, having your kneecaps smashed, and I believe he was also stabbed in the ear with some type of object. It took a few days too.

Jimmy Hydell- Granted this was tame compared to Jackson but still brutal. First of all how stupid was Hydell to attempt to kill a nutcase like Casso lol. Anyway he was shot like 9-10 times but kept alive

Dominick Ragucci/John Favara- Physically this doesn’t compare to the other too but the mental anguish and fear this poor kid went through must have been crazy being chased through Long Island by probably the most feared killer in NY at the time. Favara unfortunately probably suffered a much harsher death. I don’t believe any of the crap the Gotti spew out. For four months Favara must have been savaged shitless plus having to deal with the fact that he accidentally killed a young boy must have been mental torture

Agueci was tortured NOT because they thought he was a rat, but rather because he dared threaten Steve Magaddino. Agueci sent bad messages that IF Magaddino did not get him out of a jail cell, bail him out, and help him with lawyers and “save” him. Magaddino and the others would “pay” and be sorry they didn’t.... intimating he would “rat” or go after Magaddino.
-
SO..... he was later found sliced, diced and tortured beyond the pale. So that if any other hood should dare disrespect or think to do the same, they would think again!
-
It was a Magaddino message to the troops! Magaddino was a miser and would rather spend .50 cents to put 2 in his head than spend $$ to help defend a minion..... especially for babania.
-
And for his audacity and big mouth (and stupidity) he paid dearly!

Valachi was in the can with this Agueci and warned him against speaking out that way to a BOSS no less. Told him it was bad and not to do it. That this was not the way to go about getting help. To be quiet, and help himself. Have his brother help, but not to threaten Magaddino or other buffalo family members. The whole Tombs prison was in earshot of his constant threats..... it obviously got back to Buffalo as he hoped. He just didn’t get the result from Steve Magaddino he thought he would.

Albert and Vito Agueci were the two brothers. Albert is the one you have the gory pic of.

Pogo The Clown wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2019 10:10 am The recent Jeffrey Blackman thread got me thinking of mob murders. Which are some of the most brutal? For me the worst has to be Action Jackson in Chicago. They hung him up on a meat hook through his ass, busted his knee caps with a hammer or bat, jabbed his balls with a caddle prod, then for a little extra kick they wet the caddle prod and jabbed his genitals again all in an effort to make him confess to being a rat. Finally they just left him hanging there for days until he eventually died. Poor bastard wasn't even an informant.

Pogo
James Torello: Jackson was hung up on that meat hook. He was so heavy he bent it. He was on that thing three days before he croaked.

Frank Buccieri (giggling): Jackie, you shoulda seen the guy. Like an elephant, he was, and when Jimmy hit him with that electric prod...

Torello (excitedly): He was floppin' around on that hook, Jackie. We tossed water on him to give the prod a better charge, and he's screamin'....

I was reading a bit up on Mad Sam Destefano. A real charmer he was. He would purposefully loan money to very high risk people hoping they wouldn't be able to pay so he would have an excuse take them to his chamber in his basement to torture them. One of his guys said he would foam at the mouth while torturing people. Mad Sam was a serial killer who was discovered by the mob.

Pogo
I also read somewhere (can't remember) that Sam DeStefano was a devil worshipper. Either way, a truly sick, evil, demented man.
