The amount of backstabbing, treachery, and greed among the Colombos is really something else. I think its everywhere in that life but its on some other level among the Colombos.
Once again most of their problems seems to originate from the whole Persico family and loyalty towards them.
I bet it wont change most of the guys getting made into that family are either blood relatives or loyal to them in some form.

I agree historically the Colombo’s have been really violent and have had a ton of treachery in the ranks. Way more than other families .. I mean they’ve gone to war with each other several times.... I do believe also that it has to do with the Persicos doing whatever they can to hold onto the family .. when you’re locked up for life running a family I’m sure you start thinking that every captain that hasn’t been 109 percent loyal to the persicos can pose some threat and it causes paranoia and makes them act pretty shrewd when it comes to trust/ clipping people.... for sure the wildest of the 5 families.. it’s crazy still how many blood relatives the persicos have on the street... has it been reported that little Allie boy has taken over as boss since carmine passed? I would assume so..

Allie was behind Ralph DeLeo’s promotion to street boss in 2009 and was responsible for deciding and collecting tribute payments through Angelo Spata. With Spata on the streets, Allie probably had a more direct role in running the family than Carmine Persico, although Carmine still issued orders from behind bars at the same time as Allie.

I don’t recall hearing anything matter of fact.. but knowing the persicos I just can’t see Allie not being boss in prison forever, just like his dad.... probably feels he gave his life up for the family so he deserves to take over, even if it’s from prison, carmine did it for how many years??? Any one a somewhat recent picture of lil Allie boy???? Don’t see a lot of him..

Imo teddy persico is more likely to be the official boss. He’s been more active than allie and he would def have enough support to take over the family.

Teddy doesn’t stand a chance on the streets. He’ll probably be crazy enough to kill somebody, which is gunna be what gets him a life sentence.

Yea, If Carmine lost his seat of power somehow during all those years we all know he loses every cent flowing up to him and his relatives and that's what the Persicos lived off of, Tribute of all kinds from all the Captains, Soldiers, Associates etc...
