You need to listen to this Stephen Newell interview. He is an associate of both Jr and Alite who testified at Jrs trial for the defense. Alite even shot Newell. He’s mentioned in both books. The guy does Gotti a favor helping him out and then jr calls him a law enforcement cw which was a lie. All the while Jr has a proffer session with the feds. Jr is the fucking worst. How the hell does a rat call a guy who does him a solid a rat? The rest of the Gottis, all stand up guys. I’ll never understand all these folks obsession with Jr.

What you said is about the extent of it. Seems like he's retired/shelved. No longer active or really holds any weight in the Gambino family. I think I remember back when he did that interview they said he has income from real estate he owns. Wouldn't surprise me if he and the rest of Gotti Sr's kids have at least some of their dad's money stashed away.

I could be wrong, but common sense and previous audio tapes and interviews with former mobsters and Gambino Squad Task Force members, he was a degenerate gambler and obviously a high profile media sensation that spent $$$$ on Crystal Champagne nightly and Diamonds for his girlfriend. I don’t believe he was smart enough to pack a parachute.

It's true Gotti Sr. blew a lot of money gambling. Obviously spent a lot on lawyers too. But even considering that, along with what Junior said in his interview about his father "hating money," if Gotti made even half the money the feds believe he did, there had to be quite a bit left after he died.

He was stabbed outside a CVS pharmacy in Syosset, L.I so I doubt it was his wife.
