Re: List of wars outside NYC
Actually the Rizzuto's settled down after Vito came in power for a while until Massino flipped. He even mentioned something (to border guards maybe?) that things would come unhinged with him away and of course it did just that. Montreal right now is about the same as here in the 50's and 60's if you ask me and that is why we are seeing this. They have no RICO and the closest thing to it is "gangsterism" which is a joke. You can kill and definitely be out within 15 up there.
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

First Tampa mob war, circa 1928 tbrough 1940. Known in Tampa as the Era of Blood (which really encompasses both 'wars'). Between Charlie Wall and the Mafia under Ignazio Anintori. Lots of sawed-off shotgun slayings from passing cars.
Second Tampa mob war, 1950 through 1955. Sal Italiano faction vs Santo Trafficante Jr faction. Also shotgun killings from cars, some close up hits, and one throat cutting/head bashing (Charlie Wall)
Lounge wars, mid 1970s, fighting between mob-backed nightclub and strip club owners (shootings and bombings)
