That was what was posted on the forums but I've never seen it confirmed anywhere else. Same with Falzone being the Boss.

I'm not saying you are wrong but the information I have gotten through several people was that he was his dad's confidant but never got too directly involved with the street rackets. Does anybody have FBI reports that confirm anything about Joe Jr.?

I also thought Sonny Nicoletti was the last Underboss. Also, I went to college with a girl from Buffalo with the last name D'Grillo. Does than name ring a bell with anybody?

He was listed as the UnderBoss in a fed chart from the late 80s. Here is an article from 1996 that describes him as a leader.

I've seen those same documents and they're compelling in their own way, but a very plausible defense could be presented that "he really wasn't" too directly involved.

In the 2006 the fbi listed 14 made men 4 capos a boss, underboss and a consigliere.

Falzone was listed as boss.

I find a chart but there too names and more are in their 80s and for sure are retired and as boss.
I dont know why Buffalo was defunct or nearly defunct.
I think that in NY state should be a good recruitment pool.

Post from that weirdo Giacamo Vacari over on bb, making things up again

Furio, Robert "Bobby" Panaro Jr, lives in Las Vegas, and is semi-retired. He is not the underboss, but he might be the family's consigliere as he has sat down with members during disputes, or he is just a highly respected member.
Victor Sansanses has pretty much run things for nearly two years, so he might be boss. Buffalo is not that active, or they have staying under the radar. Utica and Ontario crews are the most active, as both have made members a decade ago, with Utica making Cardinale and Feliciano in this decade, Ontario bringing in a few Cotroni guys, while Buffalo has just recently made a couple of guys. Erie, Rome, and Endicott are dead, while Syracuse has a couple of old soldiers left and a handful of associates in that area.
A third of that family is retired or semi-retired. My count is 26 or 27 members left. Could be more.

That's actually true. The 2006 chart had 23 members - a boss, underboss, consigliere, 4 captains, and 16 soldiers. I suspect it simply worked out that way as some guys died off, while others lived on, and there wasn't any real reorganization done because there wasn't much activity by that point.

Posters like him are the bane of the forums. Always combining some known facts with their personal fantasies in order to develop some bullshit narrative. How the hell would he even know if Buffalo had recently made a couple guys? What an ass.

So pretty much 4 guys to each capo ??? That's rubbish , the decavalcante family could do the same and have 15 capos

Besides the internet, I've never seen any official source confirming or indicating that Falzone was ever the boss. It started years ago on a thread involving Jilly Scibetta (Scott Campbell) guessing rightfully that the Todaros were retired and someone replied that "it probably went to Falzone" and within days his name began popping up on Mobfan style charts as boss or acting boss depending on the chart creator.

The article that talked about the 2006 chart pointed out the same thing - the family was definitely top-heavy. But we don't know how many soldiers were in each crew. Again, like I said, it really doesn't matter because that chart was likely more a representation of the 23 members still living (and their ranks) than how the organization was really functioning by that point.

According to the feds Falzone took over as acting boss in 2006 when Todaro stepped down.
