I agree. Philly has shown a remarkable ability to regenerate itself. There is still a lot of LCN activity in Philly-South Jersey and as we have seen they also have a pretty young average age for their members and associates which ensures that generational attrition affects them the least.

Well there you go, still Italian neighborhoods? So that would mean a steady flow of young recruits to fill the ranks. I think what George means here is the traditional territory of South Philly. Allot of folks have moved out to South Jersey and the NY MOB has a good chunk of the gambling in S Jersey. So what he means is as the Philly Mob ventures into the suburbs of SouthJersey they are not he only game in town as far as a Sports Books goes. The Genovese Family & Luchese Family Sports Books have long been established in South Jersey.
