Listening to this while translating an app that uses AI to identify different fungal and bacterial diseases of garden plants, life is good.
Great work guys. No idea how you talk so fucking much though, this is more words than I say in a year. Depth of knowledge in particular topics is impressive, I'm too much of a mafia generalist to do that. Only thing I have enough in-depth knowledge for a specific topic on this show would be the DeMeo crew. Well that and funny shit people like Nicky Scarfo and Paul Carparelli say, I have that topic NAILED.
Who's Mark, is that Snakes?

Besides the upcoming Chicago episode, what other Families/figures are you gonna focus on in future upcoming shows? I'd be interested in the 20's-50's Colombos or Luccheses. Or even Carlos Marcello. But I'm curious what you're interested in presenting.

My guy, you sound fine. I listen to you and I hear an expert. I don't hear a hick or a redneck. Your detailed explanation of things captivates the audience, myself included. You guys nailed this episode!

Good point by Tony about how mafia family decline often paralleled host city decline.
Big exception to this was Youngstown, where the mafia was kept on life support after the closing of the steel mills by catering to black drug dealers during the crack boom with dice games etc.

I believe it was Roemer that said Ferriola was Boss

Yeah, I believe that the CCC carried Ferriola as boss and Roemer was working for them at that time. They were treated as an authoritative source by the media who often repeated what the CCC (or local LE, which also had its limitations) told them as if it were fact.
Of course, we now know that two made members told the FBI that Carlisi succeeded Aiuppa, but the notion that Ferriola was boss was out there for so long that it’s hard for people to let go of it.

The CCC seems to still be around, or at least the website is. They still monitor the Outfit?PolackTony wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 1:53 pmYeah, I believe that the CCC carried Ferriola as boss and Roemer was working for them at that time. Did you guys ever come across the newspaper article from I want to say 1979 I believe it was Sun Times. Said Cerone was running Outfit, while Aiuppa was out sick. Said Ferriola was promoted to third spot. I found it once but can't find it on Internet againPolackTony wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 1:53 pmYeah, I believe that the CCC carried Ferriola as boss and Roemer was working for them at that time. I'm one of the newcomers referenced above. Been on a TMA binge the last few months and was Lucky enough to catch it Live yesterday. My first Live due to living in Sweden..
I really appreciate the comments and feedback I got from both Angelo and Tony in the livechat so I followed them here.
Gonna learn how the forum operates and hopefully start contributing later on. We actually have a bloody gangwar going on aws in my city of Stockholm, around 40 dead so far in ONE conflict if many.
Most hits done by kids between 14-17 working freelance for major drug orgs, now they're killing mothers, siblings etc with AK's, bombs and hand grenades. Recently there's been killings in Bosnia, Turkey and North Africa as well as Scandinavia connected to this war.
I know it sounds like I'm cosplaying Mexico and Colombia but shit is real and I feel I have to tell the world about this without the right wing, racist spin that is the main narrative right now.
Aaaanywayyy, getting long winded here,.. Thanks for the invite!

Welcome Proletarian. You're my paesan as my father's side is Swedish and I still have cousins there. Our family originally came from the island of Öland. I'm not surprised things have gotten rough in parts of Sweden.
