If the Frank Salerno listed in this Mar. 12, 2023 newsletter for this Catholic Church parish in Crestwood is the same individual under discussion here, he might have died around Feb. 2023, give or take a month (but no later than the newsletter date).

For the record, I don't consider Nadu any more of a solid source on the mob than I do Scott. Just passing on what he said.
I have no idea what Salerno's current state is. The underlying point, as some of us have been saying for a long time, is that Scott fills in the blanks with guesswork much of the time. He could get away with this more successfully with places like Detroit, where there's little to no information coming out (because little to nothing is going on), so who's going to contradict him when he says one guy is made or another guy has been promoted to captain? But he risks himself more to exposure when he plays that same game with New York.
