Doubtful, especially because the book was published close to two years ago.

About a month after publication, Lorie McDougall, who collaborated on the book via Renaud’s extensive interviews with him, said in an interview that he wanted to see an English edition — the book had been selling well on Amazon Canada after four weeks. I think that a Canadian organized-crime book in any language has to be a runaway bestseller like Mafia inc. in order for a publisher to consider translations. When the latter was at the height of its popularity in Quebec — keep in mind that an epilogue was added some 10 months later — it had sold about 72,000 copies at that point.

Hindsight is always 20/20.

From Thibault and Séguin’s article published just over a year ago:

A few interesting tidbits for those who might not read French:

- Scoppa was considered one of if not the biggest drug trafficker in Canada.
- Scoppa was apparently close to Vito Rizzuto and remained loyal to him after his return to Montreal. There was clearly a falling out between Scoppa and the Sicilians after Rizzuto’s death.
- Scoppa apparently had $20 million in cash hidden in various spots around the country. This amount doesn’t include investments and properties he owned.
-Scoppa was suspected of 15 murders according to the journalists.

I apologize if this has already been shared, but there’s some surveillance footage in the video found here (including a shot of Vito Rizzuto and Stefano Sollecito):

I think a new thread would make the most sense so the info from the book doesn’t get lost in the middle of this thread.
