I'm not sure -- I could be wrong -- I've ever stated anything about whether Magi had antipathy toward the Rizzutos (Vito and son Nick Jr.). Then again, I might have generally written along the lines of the Rizzutos getting their hooks into a number of individuals and the resentment, among other emotions, thereby engendered.

Somehow I was quite certain you stated that somewhere as I always read your posts with the utmost of interest. But you would probably know it better so if my memory is mistaken I apologize. Let's just make it my own words then because I do think Magi despised Rizzuto. [emoji2]

No worries, Lupara. As I'm getting older, my memory is not as sharp as it once was. Nor is my vision -- I'm sure you and other posters are noticing all the frequent typos I've been making in the last little while, errors I rarely made in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if you, I, or some other poster someday comes across a post in which I did in fact state that Magi despised the Rizzutos.

Magi had hired Joseph Ducarme as a body guard at one point after Nicks murder. I suspect he was marked for death by the Rizzuto faction

It was public knowledge that there was a contract on his head for many years.

If I was him I would've turned states and go into a witness protection program. Why he hasn't done that with little to lose beats me. I'm sure he had lots of insight in what was going on on the streets and behind the scenes. Desjardins will take his secrets and pride with him in the grave as well.
