So in relation to this it seems it tool the Illinois Department of Revenue two years to bring charges up. On June 2, 1995 they raided a place in Schaumburg and arrested James Bakunowicz of Rockford, Diane Z. Howell of Northlake, Joseph A. Zeno of Melrose Park, Mark E. Rydberg of Loves Park, Matthew D. Dickson of Aurora, Lowell K. Armon of Arlington Heights, James G. Hyde of Hammond, Wisconsin, Matthew J. McGuire of Rockford.

On June 3, 1995 they raided a place in Rockford and arrested James W. Kasputis, Sr. of Rockford, Judy A. Morris of Machesney Park, Joseph R. Reiff of DeKalb, James W. Kasputis, Jr. of Rockford, Michael D. Bradbury of Rockford, Mark E. Rydberg of Rockford and Sam S. Colmone of Rockford.


On June 3, 1995 they raided a place in Des Plaines and arrested Michael A. LaPrise of St. Charles, Jeffrey R. Moline of Rockford, Lowell K. Armon of Arlington Heights, Diane K. Howell of Northlake, Alan R. Armon of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kathleen S. Sullivan of Oak Lawn and Warren J. Wright of Roselle.

The Rockford Casino Players Group supplied the gambling equipment for the "charity events" and the intent was to raise money for charity. The law required the group and its volunteers to operate the charity game and the Illinois Department of Revenue said there were not enough volunteers at these events.


The only person I could see that was "connected" was Joseph Zeno who was listed as an Outfit associate. James W. Kasputis Sr. has long been a Rockford area gambler as far as I know.

Well to tell you the truth...besides that, the Outfit always had some long standing connections with the church such as Giancana allegedly posing with the Pope or using certain priests as bagmen and I believe that one of them was even named Father Cash
