Joe Watts wasn't even made but reported directly to Gotti, Sr. They say he had more pull than some of the capos at that time period with Gotti.

DiBernardo was promoted to Capo by Gotti. Before that he was a Soldier who reported direct to the administration I believe.

IIRC Joey A was a captain without a crew, correct? I always figured it was given to guys who were close to the admin or someone that brought in truck loads of cash. The importance of being named a capo would be that they didn't have to kick up as big of a cut from their operations.

That's what I thought and that's why I ASSUMED that DiBernardo was always a soldier who reported direct because of his large Porno business.
