There is no such thing as credit cards and a wise guy book
I do recall agents that hung with the Perna guys used bet eagle ( talking like 2005 or earlier ) but that book was so big who knows what guys had arrangements with it but as you know that was the Westside book , Gatto’s from my understanding . That was probably one of the biggest on line books ever , likely a lot larger than Pernas.

I’m here now and I think wise guys in the area should be concerned . There will still be a good amount of business but they did the Victory Bar nice ( huge line out door type business ) , almost Vegas style . I think they are going to need more space and I see a few of these going up in jersey city , Harrison , Secaucus a , Newark area .
My only other thought is this is bringing in alot of new gamblers in NJ to betting more regularly so while the are going to lose some value they might land more new accounts to make that up and profitable JoeyP type bettors .
This will be a $1B+ business in the above areas.
Very well done and if they get the weed biz approaches they area really gonna get a ton of new business but blue collar wise guys must be fretting a lil as outcome is hard to call.
Also with the Monmouth Race track and Atlantic City with legal weed will make jersey shore very busy.
Been buying Hudson county homes consistently since 2014 and so far it looking good but good times can always implode right quick .

Let’s see if the street guys make the odds better then the house to get the regular guy that has the cash up front and is using the legal betting houses.
Re: Supreme Court Ruling on Sports Betting
A lot of guys there were regular bettors ( my self included) and were putting there action there this weekend . Yesterday I heard line extended way outside. I’m there every Kentucky derby , Belmont etc and it’s never like that
Re: Supreme Court Ruling on Sports Betting
You also have to wonder how much of it is due to the newness of it all, and people wanting to check it out, and if there will still be lines out the door a few months from now.

It's a goofy pic of Sal Governale when he was young. He works for the Howard Stern show.

Very possible and i doubt out the door too often but I think it’s here to stay and gonna grow but that’s just a guess on my part ( Monmouth been rocking too ) . I can only imagine it come SB, MM, opening NFL , UFC . They IMO are going to do a ton of volume . I’ve personally heard a lot more people making AC plans today then in awhile . I bet opening week CFB and NFL gonna be wild down there as still it’s summer time ish .
Gonna be a race to legalize weed IMO to get first foot into tourism door , Beach Blunts Bets will sell . Plus in AC u can get a nice Bitc$ too . Back page girls are loving this decision , meadowlands will be crawling with girls in short order . I can’t even imagine the scene for NYG and NYJ games

Anyway, we have New Jersey taxing 8.5% at brick-and-mortar locations and 13% tax online.
According to the article below, Pennsylvania is considering a 36% tax. The article says 15-20% is ideal.
