Yea TJ he doesn't look as bad as he did in the Whitey trial, but the picture and him not remembering if Jackie was there is fishy. I think DeLuca's testimony buries Salemme though.

When is that other rat Mark Rossetti going to come out of the wood work? I don't see the FBI going after Shacks at 90 years old, if they do, it's a waste of taxpayers money. NOBODY left in New England can right this ship...they have finally been reduced to remnants operating. Now that sports gambling is legal, OC will suffer across the board....matter of time before the families in NYC are the only ones left and even they are not close to what they once were.

I don't know how the jury will find, but the prosecutors deserve everything they get here. Put a serial killer in Flemmi on the stand to say he "walked" in on the murder? Gives the defense the perfect excuse to blame the serial killer. How do you convict on the word of DeLuca and Flemmi? DeLuca already lied under oath once and admitted when caught his only card to play was to blame Salemme for the DiSarro killing...and Flemmi...the prosecutors should have to live with him for a week or a month before they can use him as a witness. Just disgusting.

Closing arguments going on today so not much action going on. If they find not guilty, what will get the Feds is Deluca and brother talking on a recorded phone trying to get their stories to match and putting a serial killer up there and hoping the jury would believe everything he says. Salemme has a decent chance of beating this.

Be real tough to convict on the creep flemmi word..deluca didn’t see the murder, he didnt hurt weadick..the broad hurt him some tho, but enough to convict? I don’t know, I’m leaning towards Dixie, hung,

The biggest issue is getting transcripts right now but Salemme has to be happy with where he stands in this trial. I just don't see him getting convicted.

BOSTON (WPRI) - A jury on Friday found former mob boss Francis "Cadillac Frank" Salemme guilty in the 1993 gangland slaying of Boston nightclub owner and Providence native Steven DiSarro.

The jury also found Salemme's codefendant, Paul Weadick, guilty. The jurors announced their verdicts at federal court in Boston after deliberating for more than 20 hours since Tuesday morning.

The pair are scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 13.

Salemme, 84, and Weadick, 62, were each charged with murder of a witness. Prosecutors say Salemme was concerned DiSarro would cooperate with investigators in an ongoing probe that involved his nightclub. Salemme and his late son were silent partners in the club.


Members of the DiSarro family, who attended the entire trial, wept in the courtroom as the verdict was read.

Salemme's defense attorney, Steven Boozang, said they will appeal the verdict. He also said Salemme felt worse for Weadick than for himself.
