Re: Luchese trial thread
Anyone know what witnesses the feds have for the trial?

Londonio would be stupid not to but, without a global plea deal from the government, they're unlikely to give him anything that won't have him leaving prison in a bodybag.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Sat Jun 02, 2018 6:59 am Great read on the Caves/Calabro situation Gohn. I was unfamiliar.
The prosecution had stated they have evidence implicating the Crea’s in murder charges and not only have not supplied but recanted and admitted they don’t, if I understand correctly, so, again my my understanding, the murder case against them looks like shit and I seriously doubt Snr would accept a 15yr plea.
Londonio would take 20yrs in a heartbeat.
It could well be that excluding Caldwell and Londonio most of the Lucchese charges are a house of cards with this Brady bullshit going on coupled with several charges built on Petey BS’s word and we may see a raft of very sweet pleas across the board.
We've seen in the past, when cases are pretty weak, people taking sentences as low as 5 years that cover murders, as was the case with Michael Persico, Similarly, Teddy Persico got 12 years in a deal which covered not one, but two, ordered murders. This could very well be what we see here, but the feds are going to draw this thing out as long as they can to pressure Londonio or Caldwell to flip.
There are a few ways I see this case ending up:
1. Because of all of the federal fuckups, there is a global plea in which Londonio and Caldwell get a minimum of 15y and the upper echelons get 5-10y for the murder of Meldish.
2. Feds don't budge, defendants don't budge, and they all go to trial. Naturally, Londonio and Caldwell lose but it's anyone's guess with the upper echelons.
3. Feds don't budge, so Londonio and/or Caldwell end up flipping and the upper echelons are forced to go to trial. They could win as long as they can prove to a jury that Londonio and Caldwell are simply low-level drug dealing gangbangers who made up tall tales to skate off a life sentence. If Tommy Gioeli could beat the raps, so could Crea.

Re: Luchese trial thread
can a RICO guideline be as low as 5 years?
#1 would work out for Crea.
at this point I think the other two are two old and if they beat this they prob retire.

Re: Luchese trial thread
Definitely. It would be a plea for extortion or something like that, but it would cover the murder.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Sat Jun 02, 2018 10:08 pm can a RICO guideline be as low as 5 years?

re: the physical evidence on Londonio. any info on this? i know he was popped with some guns shortly before he was originally indicted on the murder by the Bronx DA. dont tell me he was literally caught with the Meldish gun? jesus...gohnjotti wrote: ↑Fri Jun 01, 2018 4:02 pm What does “keeping it 100 mean?”
Also, the Creas are most likely going to get plea deals considering the government’s fuckup. Unlikely they’ll go to trial. If I had to guess, I’d say 10-15 years for the top admin members (Crea Sr, Jr, Madonna) and 20-30 years for Londonio and Caldwell. Nobody wants to go to trial because the evidence is pretty strong against Londonio and Caldwell and they’ll get life sentences in a heartbeat. It’s not a case that relies purely on turncoats, there’s actually physical evidence that damns Londonio and Caldwell.
also i keep harping on this, but there was a Bonnano guy in the car with those guns as well... the guns were just IN the car afaik. Londonio and the bonanno were both arrested for the guns. and now it came out that someone other than Londonio , an unnamed CW, confessed to the Meldish murder but the feds werent buying it
im not saying Londonio has a shot at trial, but all this stuff ...especially the false confession...has made this very interesting.

Re: Luchese trial thread
this CW also re canted his statement though....
idk how u can take back what was said unless he admitted he was just telling them what they wanted to hear I guess?
from the CW we can GUESS he might be a associate bc the real hitter said "u can tell them you hit him so u get the credit." if he was made there's no reason hed need to take credit

Re: Luchese trial thread
it wasnt what they wanted to hear, which is why (purely my opinion / speculation) they said it was bullshit. the feds took it over, and their narrative was that Madonna passed the order down the chain and it was a Lucchese hit with the whole chain of classic LCN command involved, not a (LCN fueled?) drug deal / sneak attackJeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Sun Jun 03, 2018 12:10 am this CW also re canted his statement though....

im curious if one of the guns londonio and maiorino were popped with was forensically tied to the stagno and/ or meldish shooting. yeah sounds dumb to hold onto guns like that, but nice reliable new semi-autos are very hard to come by in NYC. wouldnt be surprised if that is the evidence they have against Londonio. the whole thing is weird. maybe im hyping it up too much. but its very interesting

He's a career criminal, a gangster the core. He's been arrested like 27 times.
The way you talk, you just confuse him.
Re: Luchese trial thread
Yep. Like he gives a fuck about prison. Black dude, no family, no prospects - prison is probably where he feels home, and he's also probably got the black "gangs$a" mentality that he'd rather die before snitching.Teddy Persico wrote: ↑Sun Jun 03, 2018 4:04 pmHe's a career criminal, a gangster the core. Doesn’t the Lucheses have a long history with black gangsters? Think Madonna did business with nicky barnes. Wonder is that connection some how got caldwell hooked up.

Re: Luchese trial thread
SHUT UP
as for Madonna, yes he supplied Nicky Barnes. who was the biggest black dealer possibly ever in NYC. before he got his heroin from Madonna he said he was in prison with Joey Gallo who was the one who really taught him about organization and the mafia structure that Barnes eventually set up.
