Luchese trial thread
Rlly lookin forward to the Luchese trial later this year. Will be interesting to see the witnesses the government has and what info the prosecutors choose to mention. The evidence of the murder and murder conspiracy charges will be extremely intriguing. Very possible that the government explains who the CW was that was allegedly supposed to be clipped in October 2016. Would also like to see what’s said about Michael Meldish. Maybe the government brings up the 2012 affair he had with one of mikey nose’s women? There’s lots of shit that might make this trial very Hollywood, and the verdict will be very captivating. Slight chance the lucheses could beat the wrap on murder charges. Tommy shots and joey merlino beat smilingly overwhelming murder charges so anything can happen. If ya wanna say anything regarding the trial, if suggest to post here.

What does “keeping it 100 mean?”
Also, the Creas are most likely going to get plea deals considering the government’s fuckup. Unlikely they’ll go to trial. If I had to guess, I’d say 10-15 years for the top admin members (Crea Sr, Jr, Madonna) and 20-30 years for Londonio and Caldwell. Nobody wants to go to trial because the evidence is pretty strong against Londonio and Caldwell and they’ll get life sentences in a heartbeat. It’s not a case that relies purely on turncoats, there’s actually physical evidence that damns Londonio and Caldwell.

Londonio and caldwell will def plead out. Those two morons left dna evidence and used thier own car as a getaway. Why not just call meldish to a meeting and bury the body? ♂️Also, keepin it 100 just means im keepin it real. But rlly i added the since i thought i made a good post. Nothin too complicated lol. And about the creas, i doubt crea will plead out. The guys in his 70’s and a 15 sentence in a plea deal is a death sentence at his age. So, why not go to trial and roll the dice? Id say that madonna goes to trial as well. His son, however, might plead out.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Fri Jun 01, 2018 4:02 pm What does “keeping it 100 mean?”

Re: Luchese trial thread
The feds will be looking for a global plea deal, in order to keep their conviction rates up. If a defendant drops out of the deal, the feds scrap the deal for the other defendants, which puts pressure on everybody (guilty or not) to accept the plea. So they are probably working out a deal in which Londonio gets say, 20 years, and the Creas get 15. Now, the Creas might be saying “Well, we can beat this thing at a trial, but if we drop out of this deal, Londonio definitely WONT beat this thing at trial.” The reason why this is an issue is because Londonio might feel fucked over that he is getting a substantially higher sentence just because the Creas don’t wanna take a deal, and this might be incentive enough for Londonio to flip.
I might be wrong on this, but I think this is what caused Joey Competiello and later Dino Calabro to flip. Caves was doomed at trial, but Tommy Shots had a good chance of beating it. Tommy Shots was adamant on going to trial and rejected a plea deal, so the feds put the squeeze on Joey Caves, who flipped and then caused Dino Calabro to flip, causing a domino effect culminating in Mafia Takedown Day.

Oh plea deals confuse me sometimes. Dont see why Londonio or Caldwell havn’t plead yet. They got charged in 2015, which was two years before the luchese leadership got pinched. Lookin at it now, its actually possible that they all plead out. Gotta wonder if Londonio flips man.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Fri Jun 01, 2018 6:02 pm The feds will be looking for a global plea deal, in order to keep their conviction rates up. Crea Sr. is about 72 now. A 15 year sentence will knock him out of the box. There may be an upheavel in the Luchese Family with this case

I'm sure the lukes have allready replaced every one and have been doing business fine and low key the last year since everyone got locked up.

Re: Luchese trial thread
@Slim: It should be simple as to why Londonio and Caldwell haven’t plead yet - the feds haven’t offered them a deal worth taking!! The feds know they’ve got an open and shut case. It’s the other defendants they need to negotiate with.
@Nighthawk: Theortically a 15 year sentence means he’ll be out in 10, if I’m not mistaken. And they do say “prisons preserves you.”
@Jeremy: I completely agree. It’s not like any big rackets were dismantled with the bust.

Re: Luchese trial thread
Great read on the Caves/Calabro situation Gohn. I was unfamiliar.
The prosecution had stated they have evidence implicating the Crea’s in murder charges and not only have not supplied but recanted and admitted they don’t, if I understand correctly, so, again my my understanding, the murder case against them looks like shit and I seriously doubt Snr would accept a 15yr plea.
Londonio would take 20yrs in a heartbeat.
It could well be that excluding Caldwell and Londonio most of the Lucchese charges are a house of cards with this Brady bullshit going on coupled with several charges built on Petey BS’s word and we may see a raft of very sweet pleas across the board.
