Meanwhile, it seems others sort of "projected" their view into the situation - believing it unthinkable a father could have his son killed (even in the mob) - and defaulted to thinking their must be some other explanation.

Yeah and that is one of the sillier arguements against it. How many men (and women) throughout history have murdered their children? How many are in prison today for having done so? So really how hard would it be for some murdering sociopathic gangster to OK his estranged junkie sons murder?


Another reason some don't want to believe it is because of idolization. They won't admit it but they idiolize and root for these gangsters and it would pop their fantasy bubble to think that they could have their own son killed over some petty bullshit. I gaurentee you that if you take the same situation with the same set of facts and just change it to some low level junkie associate disappearing instead of a low level junkie associate who happens to be Cirillos son and they would have no problem believing the Genovsese family did it.

Im not going off of PB or some fantasy I have about mobster. Its just one of those things I think it was Vinny based on prior things. Cantarella testimony being one.

i Agree WG. If the tables were turned, Quiet Dom would expect the same
from another member. QD is old school. Is old enough to have been involved
in the mob's heyday. His son fucked up and paid the price. The son's ego got the
best of him. There is a video of the son out there talking in front of the family
house up in Pelham. The son seemed dumb and dumpy FWIW. Not surprised he
ended up dead.

who did Capeci identify in the pic?

not sure but from memory the older/made Roccaforte is on the far left. Howard Santos is a couple down from him, the darker guy with super white teeth raising his drink. Trucchio himself is kind of in the middle in the grey 3 peice suit & orange tie, with his hand on someones shoulder...and i think that someone is Anthony Moscatiello but I could be wrong. The pudgy guy with the sunglasses and baby blue shirt/tie combo, I forget his name but he was busted in 2011 with them. The bald guy on the right MIGHT be Francis LaCorte but im not sure, looks too old to be him.

only ones i can ID for sure are Roccaforte, Trucchio and Santos

oh and one more, Ernie Abbamonte is playing the back there. oldest guy in the shot, to the left of Trucchio

the bald guy i thought was crew member Frank LaCorte is actually Vinny Carwash Frogerio. howard beach guy who AFAIK was made but NOT in Trucchio's crew. which makes me think guys were "shared" between mastrangelo crew and/or both crews were combined at one point. or, they could literally just be friends and his presence just means that.

pic was taken at studio square , club/event space on the southern end of Astoria near Long Island City. i remmeber reading on the forums that Trucchio had a dice/card game in Astoria. he was also plugged into Gallaghers strip club, which isnt too far away from Astoria as well
