Detroit was also called the outfit, KC, and some other families. It’s just a term

Agreed. The Midwest families usually used the terms Outfit or Clique

actually he got out of the Brasco situation.
What happened was they were having sit downs and all, ready to make deals but at the last meeting Balisteri mysteriously stops communication with them as well as Bonnabo Family members.

they almost pulled the mission at that point. in Unfinished business Brasco says he thinks Balasteri figured something out... but ud think if he had thought bad about him and he failed to tell any other bosses, esp Bonannos, u would think he'd get in trouble for not saying anything. that's all based on a lot of what ifs tho.

Balasteri dad was a early boss i believe. maybe his uncle was a member too. his dad did not want him becoming boss apparently and even kicked up a stink about it

anyone remember the C.O.C. Brasco used to get with Balasteri

Balistrieri actually got convicted in the case related to Brasco but it took until 1984 to convict him and he took a plea deal to keep his sons out of prison. Also, it was Balistrieri's father-in-law, John Alioto, that was boss before Balistrieri

No, they had jurisdiction over them during one period, probably the 50s and eraly 60s but i think that was it

I believe Brasco (Pistone) vouched for Tony Conte (who was really FBI agent Gail Cobb) through Lefty and they set up the meeting with Balistrieri

Lefty reached out to Bonanno member Tony Reila (forgot through who) who had contacts to Rockford family mmbers. The Rockford gy's in turn reached out to the Milwaukee family and set up the meeting.
