what didnt he lie about, better question..all the shit about lansky and whoever, all non substantiated nonsense..in his case, he through everything at cardillo, made up stories, all bullshit nonsense...said he was number 3 man, but not made? ahah, said he was at major mob meetings, again all non substantiated nonsense
Re: Vinnie Teresea
By all accounts Zannino was a bully and could get pretty violent. This was particularly true after he drank way too much, which apparently most of the time. All accounts that I’ve read, from Underboss to Howie Carr to various FBI docs, say that Zannino was a raging alcoholic and regularly abused those around him because of it.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 6:03 amapparently when Teresea was in jail and when he first got there he asked his wife if she was bein taken care of. not only was she not but larry basically said to fuck off.dixiemafia wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 5:55 amI think you are thinking about Bianco. I thought he said Tameleo became "the referee* BC of gallo war... But I could be mistaken for Bianco.
As for Anguilo he said he was being shaken down by Larry zannino so he went to patriarca and gave him half his sports book which I think was huge.
Teresa also flipped BC of Larry zannino
If I'm not mistaken, that is correct on Angiulo. According to the original Underboss book (about Angiulo), it mentioned too that Larry was shaking him down and he paid the old man to get him off his back and gave him control of all of Boston's numbers. Think it was $100k or $150k and a percentage of the book. It had to have felt weird because Zannino was a Patriarca favorite yet he went from shaking Angiulo down to basically working for him.
What's the story on Teresa flipping because of Zannino? I don't know about this. I'll have to get this book too
Larry seems to be a bully. but ud think these guys would at least care for there fam at least in the beginning so they dont flip.

Re: Vinnie Teresea
Zannino was underboss to the underboss (anguilo) who he use to extort. So he probably lost a lot of money as well as ego hurt that this underling is now his boss

Teresa was a total nuisance when he was on the street. He was the guy who sat at the end of the bar with his Nose up in the air, Acting as if he was too big to be bothered. He was a brokster who talked to anyone who would listen. He did know a lot of powerful people between the Boston Area and RI. Nobody could stand him. That's the reason he wrote that nonsense. My grandfather used to keep his book on the shelf in the Parlor, and would giggle like a little kid anytime my cousins and myself would ask him about it. Being a gulable 13 yr old, I read the book and would ask him questions regarding some of the characters he supposedly did business with. He would do any deal brought to him because the real money makers wouldn't go near him with a 10 ft pole. One of the biggest bullshitters to ever get published. If there had been the Fact checking system like they have today (Internet Especially) the author probably would have run far far away. Take care,
Luca

unfortunately authors don't allways care. for example: Ralph Natale in his book said he was SECRETLY made by Bruno and Gambino in a ceremony that they said to keep secret.Luca Brasi wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 8:06 pm Teresa was a total nuisance when he was on the street. very interesting about Teresea. his book was one of my first mafia reads (after Wise Guy)
and if u think about it... when he flipped, i think he was maybe the 2nd or 3rd guy ever to flip. so when he wrote his book he was probably under the idea that no one would be countering his stories.
so he knew all.the top guys, but just didnt do any business w them?

Re: Vinnie Teresea
Well as you know, being an acquaintance to someone is alot different than being business partners or in a variety of business deals. For example, I know and could make small talk, maybe buy his party a round, with a good amount of serious guys on the atreet present day in my area, but that doesn't mean we are also partners in some book, Shy, Drugs, etc. Teresa was the kinda guy who knew alot of the happenings and Scores on the street, but when he was talking a poor bastards ear off down Cafe Pompeii, basically bragging, he forgot to tell the person he got the information Second maybe Third hand and the score happened a month ago. He would get a call from Larry Z or Paul Intiso in town to help So and So in whichever location Florida, California, Nevada. Nobody trusted him. He was really a hanger-on wannabe that made his life of crime up in his own head. Hence the book. I mean think about it, a gangster of Meyer Lansky's stature, not making a call to Ray Sr to help him out if needed with a trusted underling. Instead he is that impressed with Fat Vinny Teresa, he hires him on the spot to handle millions in Caaino junkets. Take care,JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 2:30 amunfortunately authors don't allways care. for example: Ralph Natale in his book said he was SECRETLY made by Bruno and Gambino in a ceremony that they said to keep secret.Luca Brasi wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 8:06 pm Teresa was a total nuisance when he was on the street.
