Was recently reading an old article about frank cali and how he supposedly turned down an offer to become boss in 2013. One thing i found very strange was how the article was talkin bout how cali turned down the offer, giving exactly what cali apparently said. Even had a date to when the meeting happened. My question is how would dis type of shit, as secretive as it is, get leaked to the media? Only way would be if someone at the meeting had a huge mouth and blabbed to everyone bout what happened, or thier was an informant during the meeting. Also later read that the gambinos set up a ruling panel after the whole media frenzy as a way to insulate the bosses. What’s anyone’s take on this situation?

I'm pretty sure the panel was reported before 2013 and maybe Cali as underboss had something to do with it, but Cefalu has been and still is acting boss since 2011, so why wouldn't he have instituted the street panel.

It doesn’t say they made the panel cuz of the info bein leaked bout cali, but i read somewhere that the cali scandel was why the panel was made. Also, i do have an account on gbb. Its slimshady.

Couldn’t of been nicky skins. The report bout cali came out in 2013, nicky skins committed suicide in 2012.
